Cheaper just to buy a new one. Love using an iPod over any other portable music player due to iTunes playlists are much simpler on iTunes and an iPod vs standard MP3 players with dragging and dropping files between devices. iPods also ensure your music stays organized, which is a must. Great product, love iPods and Apple products
