It's a perfect size for work, or places where music is frowned upon. I do use it with a speaker. Music sounds great. I do wish it held more music, but I just selected my favorites.

I wanted a basic easy to use nice compact MP3 player. This fit my needs and has worked flawlessly as would be expected from Apple.

Great product to use while working out, love the small size and it holds enough music to be able to list to a variety of songs.

I use it almost exclusively at the gym. It's light and easy to clip on to a t shirt and I can customize my songs for my workout.

My younger Grandson loved it, sounds great. Small enough to put in your pocket .

I love my shuffle, it's small and the clip holds on even while I'm on a run. I don't like taking my phone everywhere I go!

I'm very pleased with the iPod Shuffle. Compact great battery life and great sound for what it is. Worth every penny.

This replaced one that got washed in the machine. I forgot to take it off my workout t-shirt. It's better than the earlier version. Enjoy the ability to select playlists and get a voice over for each song.

Understandably , the shuffle was designed from the ground up with portability and affordability in mind. In those departments it delivers. It's quite handy to have when going to the gym or a run, and pretty much any other endeavor where you need to use your hands. However, while Apple has met their objective of keeping the device durable, portable, and simple; this simplicity also hinders it. Mainly this manifests itself when trying to change playlists. The shuffle supports playlists, but one must endure through the voice over reading through each of the playlists. I think that is an oversight. All in all, good product, and cheap!

I have an iPod but the shuffle is my favorite. It's small, holds alot of music, has a long battery life and I use it on my motorcycle through a speaker system. It puts out enough volume for me to hear the music while riding and that says alot when you consider the wind noise.

Nice little MP3 for the money. Although the size has some drawbacks (like not great for us old people who require bifocals). The size has pluses also (like being small enough it can snap to a jogging bra or shirt collar without getting in the way. So I'd say the benefits far out weigh the negatives in the size department.

Easy to carry. Good in numerous situations IE: exercising, walking/running, etc. Good sound, ample storage capacity.

Perfect for exercising. After years of strapping my 1st generation iPod or now iPhone to my arm for workouts I thought I'd give this a try. Easy to use, much less cumbersome than either of those. Took a little while to build up some playlists and get used to the fact that I can't jump around as easily to any song, but the benefits outweigh any downsides. Happy with my purchase so far.

great for just music for working out. Small enough to not get in the way . Light enough to be clipped to your shirt.

It works great and simple to use. Fits anywhere. I hope they come out with a bluetooth version and I can go wireless.
