The Ipod shuffle is a simple, intuitive music player. I am not a technology person(no smart phone, tablet, touch screen products), and I really enjoy the simple, easy to locate controls that I can operate while running. If you are looking for a music product for active use, then the Shuffle is for you. If you need a screen and more frills look at the rest of the Ipod line-up.

I bought this after a rash of "apple-picking" incidents in bucolic, peaceful New Haven made me nervous about running with my iPhone. Def don't regret the purchase -- it's not cumbersome, has a great battery life, and is inexpensive. I do wish that there was a way to set a voice-over alarm/clock/counter. As things stand, you really need to wear a watch as well. Also, I am incredibly nervous that the clip on the back will snap off with a few more months use -- this clip is basically the defining feature of the nano. Dreading the inevitable crazy-glue experiments. No complaints otherwise though.

It was easy to set up once I was able to download iTunes on it. I enjoy the nice crisp sound of the music. I would most likely buy another one if this one broke.

Overall a good value for the money, great sound and I don t have to worry about losing it because it is cheap

Works great, however, when we went to set up, had someone else's name already in profile. Was not brought to default factory setting before sold. We bought it as an "open box" but thought it would be "new." We had to reset the ipod before using.

I use this when I work out. It's lightweight, and clips easily to my collar. I have no complaints

This was a great purchase for someone who just wants a basic music playing mp3 player. no frills just plays music. 4GB would be better, but nice price.

Easy to use. I thought I would have trouble loading with music but it was easy. Very user friendly. I work in a hospital and must inventory the operating rooms at night. I listen to music while I am up there at night. I used to use my phone and Listen to pandora radio but kept losing my connection. iPod has made that time much better. I love my tunes!

I bought these for my kids. They love the colors and I love the way you can control the volume with parental controles. It does a lot more than the generation that I have.

The school that my 14 year old daughter attends doesn't allow any items with internet or photo taking ability. But they are allowed to have something they can listen to music with during free periods or art or lunch. This is the only apple device that meets those requirements. She has downloaded her favorite playlists from iTunes and she is thrilled. It's definitely worth the money and it's small enough to carry anywhere.
