We have purchased many Apple products and the iPod is one of our favorites. We now purchase them for prizes to contests our business sponsors. They are easy to use, set up and grow with. They are so easy that our children (now 6 & 7 1/2) have used them for the past two years. They are great for the beginner to advanced athlete. Great product.

Purchased for wife to use when walking. Small and easy to use.

I tried using my iPhone in an armband for walking and at the gym. It was really bulky, awkward, and hard to reach the controls. The shuffle is ideal. I found the volume of the music I synched varied too much, but I think there is a solution for that, based on reading the full user guide. I also think the shuffle will be great riding the bus or on a plane, too.

ipod shuffle is great for using while being active. I use on farm while mowing, weed eating, cutting wood, and riding horse. I am not a fan of ear buds so I use the earphones (head set). Ugly to look at but convenient for drowning out outside noise like mower or chain saw.

I bought this for my wife for a Valentines day present. I had no idea how small it actually was. She loves if because it is discrete at her work and at the gym. The built in clip works great for keeping it in place. And because of its design and simple features, there is not alot of exrtas to get her distracted from paper work or working out.
