I have seen quite an improvement in the quality of shuffle Ipods through the years. After purchasing this shuffle due to some technical issues arising from the use of an older model, I am thus far impressed with the quality and design.

Bought this ipod for my mom because her old ipod nano didnt work anymore. She loves how it has a clip on it so she can clip it on her shirt for her walks and when she gardens.

I own the very first version of the iPod Shuffle. I've used it for running for years. This version of the iPod is far superior however. It is smaller, lighter, and can support multiple playlists. I sometimes want to listen to music and other times to NPR podcasts. Using this iPod Shuffle I can do both. I'll start with a podcast list Radio Lab and when the run gets tough I switch to music. Love this device.

Use my mp3 player at the YMCA and when Apple wanted to replace my first generation iPod with a new one, I figured I'd be down for a month or so without my music, so picked up a quick-fix till my new one came. I love it. With such a compact size, clip-on function and ease of use, I was good to go !! My free replacement seventh generation iPod came in after only a week but "junior" is still my preference at the "Y" !!

I already own an iPhone and an iPod nano but I have so many issues with working out with either one. The shuffle is a perfect size to put my workout playlists on and just clip it to my pants/shirt. I don't even fuss with it the entire time. If you are looking for something basic especially for while working out this is a good choice.

I love my new iPod. It's perfect for music on the go. Especially, when exercising, mowing the lawn, or long road trips. All my family members have one.

Easy to set up small in size holds lots of music . Too bad battery dies after four hours!

It's versatile, lightweight and has a built-in clip. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the lack of bluetooth.

i prefer the physical buttons for quick controlling when working out and not having to fiddle around with the touch screen of the newer versions.

This was purchased for my husband to use while running or at the gym. The size is perfect as it can be easily clipped to clothing and forgotten.

This I Pod is fantastic and so easy to use. Down loaded my favorite music. I use the jack on my motorcycle sound system and it is just perfect !

This is so great for running. I hate wearing an arm band and this clips right to my waist band. Holds way more songs than I would have guessed.

This one is for my husband's use (he already has one but this one is going in his truck). It is easy to download and so nice and small!

The ipod shuffle is easy to use and works great for a long run or workout when you do not want to be carrying any extra weight around.

This is the perfect MP3 player for anyone who is on the go. It is small enough that you can put it in your pocket or purse, but durable enough that you won't damage it if it ends up in the bottom of your bag. The clip is very strong (haven't had it fall off my shirt yet while running or exercising), and the physical buttons make it easy to change tracks or volume without having to look at it! Pair it with a good pair of sport headphones (or even high quality ones if you are traveling), and you have the only MP3 player that you will ever need assuming that you are a smartphone owner. I say this in all seriousness, as I have several friends and coworkers who still use their previous generation Shuffle every day after 2-5 years. One note: if you plan on having multiple playlists on your Shuffle, be sure to install the Voice Over feature through iTunes. Otherwise, you will not be able to switch between playlists, and won't get any of the VO track information or battery status either!

I like to use the iPod Shuffle for short runs and exercise sessions. It is small and doesn't get in the way like some arm bands do. The only down side is no Bluetooth for wireless headsets.

The incredibly small, wearable music player has a clickable control pad. And VoiceOver tells you the song title or playlist name.
