just love the simplicity and ease of use. Used it for my first marathon and it helped to get over the toughest part of it. Wouldn't miss it anymore...

This is the perfect little Ipod for work. It clips right on my collar and have never had an issue with it. The last one died after 8 years of dust and dirt, hope this one last just as long.

I had an original version which finally started acting goofy so it was time to replace it. This one does everything the original did (and a little more) and while my complaint has nothing to do w/the quality or play of this version...the new(er) smaller size is downgrade in my opinion. The original (and maybe a few generations after...i'm not sure) was rectangular with the Apple iPod spin dial off to one side...so that when you grasped the clip mechanism you could easily clip it to your shirt (I only use my for working out). This generation is square and smaller...the spin dial takes up the whole face...so when you clasp it...you're hitting a button. It's small thing...but an annoying one. Now you must keep it off, clip it on, then turn it on. Again...doesn't effect play or functionality of the device...but the design wasn't thought through very well in that respect.

This is the simplest, most convenient mp3 player ever made. The best part is you don't have to visually look at the buttons to operate it. Nothing better for working out at the gym or wherever.

I bought this for a family member who just wanted an iPod. They didn't like using their phone for music so this fits their needs just fine. Having the buttons on the front is very useful.

For the price it was a great purchase. Easy to download the songs and easy to skip to the next song. Only downside is the earphones, but I just use my beats earbuds which sounds great.

I am 62 and ride my bike two miles every morning. This ipod allows me to listen to all my favorite tunes while I ride. Great battery life. Stores more than enough songs. Great price!

If you have a Playlist or all the music you know want to listen to, this is the best choice. I leave it playing music in the background of the house without worrying about checking on it.

I like shuffles because I put list in and it gives me a mix and I can easily turn off and on as I need. While I run, or walk the golf course or ride in car with my wife. Very functional.

This player is so small it's perfect for working out. Used to use my phone but given the size this thing disappears and stays out of the way.

Love the iPod shuffle for working out. So sad to read it will be discontinued! Holds the perfect amount of music for a long run or marathon without the bulk of carrying a phone.

Convenient item to listen to music while traveling

Love the Ipod Shuffle, as I have two myself. This was a gift, but setup through Apple was a little difficult this time around for some reason. The product itself is great! I've even washed my first generation Ipod and it still works great :)

I love the shuffles, this is my 4th one. I have used the various generations. Light and consistent. I can always count on apple.

Needed to have music for a work event. Purchased the iPod and was easily able to download music and hook up to speakers. Would recommend

We got this to download our toddlers music to and it has worked great! Until she's older and actually wants to choose music not having a screen didn't matter to us. I like all of the iPods in our house and will continue to purchase them in the future.

I wanted a simple ipod for work. I work 13 hours shifts, and It holds plenty of music and it holds a single charge for the whole shift!

Love these IPODS. I have at least 3. I download my music from ITUNES to these IPODS. I put my Bose earphones on and go hiking in the woods. Wonderful.

We bought this for my thirteen year old. It is a good "first" iPod. Plays his favorite music which is what he wanted it to do. Not a lot of features, but the price is good.

Perfect for what I need it for, was easy enough to figure out how to put the music on. But not so great at holding battery. The salesman said it would charge as long as it was plugged into any aux cord, but only certain ones. I got it for a 7 hour road trip and it made it about 6.5 hours. Pretty disappointed.
