May have been a defective unit but it quit on me after one song. Loved the promise of the device but honestly my old one works better, so I returned it.

Great little iPod

I was not wanting anything else like internet or games like my kids have, it's not necessary for what my intention is. I just want to listen to music while I walk.

No Display Makes it Less Friendly

Cheap for an Apple product, but lack of a display makes it tougher to find your music. Also it is so tiny we have lost it a couple of times and had to do a serious search. It also nearly went through the washer still clipped on a shirt.

Meets my requirements completely

Employees aren't allowed to have cell phones on their person while working so he wanted something small and easy to use so he could listen to music. This was exactly what he needed.

Good Basic Mp3 Player

The annoying thing is everytime you add music to the playlist on your shuffle, it mixes the order of the songs you want played. You have to press the voiceover button and the play button in order to get the shuffle to play the songs in the order you want it to.

Just remember, for books, slide it over one notch. The second notch plays tracks in random order, not good for audio books.
