overly complicated

I just want something to put my music on that has a lot of memory. It's sad to see apple moving away from that kind of storage device because most people have smart phones that can do everything else you need. Why double up everything with this device? All a person needs is to connect to the internet to download your music, movies and have a lot of storage space to do it.
