    Granddaughter always wants to borrow my phone and download apps to play games watch videos etc. This device serves the purpose without paying for cell service. You can also set the device to send a permission request to your IPhone before a child tries to download or make purchase.

    Bought this before they finally disappear. This is my second one. My first lives in my bedroom to control my TV & streamer. The second is a controller in my living room streamer. I wanted a back up to my phone. Has most everything the phone has but no phone.

    We are more of an Android family. But we cannot deny that this iPod is built with quility in mind. The ease of the parental controls were the things that won us over. This is our daughter's first media device and want to keep her safe. We bought our oldest daughter an iPhone 11 for the same reasons. Another quality product.

    I have had many ipods in the past that are all in need of batteries. i have a relatively new android phone and did not want an iphone. The ipod touch is basically the same as an iphone without the phone part. I love it has all my music and compatible with Audible.

    Apple finally;y updated the iPod Touch.Not a big improve,ent over the 6th Gen but it willr unIOS 13 which the older ones will not.. I would still a]rather have a dedicated music[payer andnotmy phone the only reason I keeponekeep one around . Cheaper if it get lost for stolen.
