There isn't really anything special about this. I only picked it up since it was the only device my work would approve me listening to music on. I've used mini tablets that do the job just as well and give more control to the user.

My son got it for Christmas two weeks ago and today it will not turn on. It has been plugged in to charge and it won't register it is charging. Has worked fine up unyil now. Highly disappointed.

Works great! Besides some times it won't update some apps. Downloading them is a mess sometimes too.

-does not respond to touch sometimes, never responds when pluged in, and its very sensitive to heat and turns off, -does not respond well to being pluged into my SONY car system and music does not play as it should, I can only use the AUX cable, does not respond to USB port in car - the icloud works half the time, and wont upload your pics, or music from imac I expected way better than this

I used my ipod with my new beats headphones and i would get distortion. Other than that, its a pretty good buy

Not much different from my old iPod--I only bought it because that one started to malfunction on me.

I enjoyed the technology and it was good with web. It was gift and he liked it. Best deal yet.

Setup was harder than the iPhone . Also does not include a cube plug

I purchased this for my son's birthday. It worked great until day 4. The screen turned black and the apple ipod became nonresponsive. BestBuy exchanged it for the blue apple ipod, since it was the only color left. I hope the exchanged ipod last much longer than 4 days, because as of today we are at day 3 with no problems.

I love that it can hold hours of music, take and store pictures, and surf the internet. It is an excellent media device. However, I dislike the fact that you cannot read the percentage of battery left on the upper right hand side of the screen. Apparently this feature is not available on iPod touch, only on other Mac devices (iPhone and iPad). Other than that it is an excellent product.

16GB is enough storage for this to be a basic Wi-Fi device that has all the benefits of an Apple quality product, like strong performance, lots of games/apps to choose from, and great design.

It took me awhile to get use to the size of the screen but after using it for awhile Ive come to enjoy it a lot! The battery for me with moderate use last about 3 to 4 days before needing to charge it.

I know there are many people who are anti Apple but i have never had anything but success with my iPad, iMac , and iPads. i guess you will find limitations with any product but this little gem is perfect for my son which is an upgrade from a very old iPod (so old there was no camera!) He loves it and it integrates seamlessly with our existing playlists and games and apps

I bought this as a gift for my nephew and he loves it. He uses it every day and loves that he can FaceTime or send iMessages. You really can't go wrong with an Apple made product. Very high quality.

Upgrading from 4th gen. Just what I expected. Wish it came with the plug for outlet charging.
