Does the trick for my 10 yr old he wants a cellphone but I don't think he is ready for one yet so he gets the opportunity to play all the apps without using my phone and I can FaceTime or text when I want to check up on him great purchase for me

This ipod is so much faster than the old one ,my wife loves its fast speed.

We have had this ipod for a couple years now with no problems at all. Works great for a child who isn't quite old enough for a cell phone yet but wants to be able to connect with their friends and play games.

My oldest daughter has the 4th Generation Ipod. It will not update past the iOS 6. I bought her this one for her birthday and she loves everything about it. Lots of changes and updates compared to the previous one. Seems to be a great product.

This was a present for my grandchild and she loved it, I was hesitant about buying such an expensive product for her (she is only 5) but this is something that all these kids have and since her sister (7) had one, she wanted one too...

I purchased this for my daughter to take on a trip to Costa Rica. Protected by a Lifeproof Case she took it horseback riding, zip lining, and white water rafting. iPod survived, she was able to send home pictures everyday, and use FaceTime to call home (hotel wifi). My only complaint about the iPods are their lack of storage. I wish there were memory options like the iPhone has.

This ipod functions great! I love the way this is definately fun to use.

Got it for my niece for 8th birthday. She wanted a phone. But no 8 year old or a kid that young needs a phone. But close to being a phone. No worries about paying monthly bills for it. Just little bit of money on an iTunes cards all good

I bought this iPod for my grandson and he loves it! He can't seem to put it down and he says there is so many things that he can do on it, like pay music, even there is an app where you can talk on the phone to someone. Great buy!

My dad is old school and he doesn't like using his phone to listen to music. It was his birthday and his old ipod touch was giving him issues. I saw this was on sale and knew it would be a great purchase for him. He likes it.
