    My daughter wasn't ready to get a phone yet but felt she could be safe with the iPod. We still restrict which apps she can install and how they work, but it allows her some connection to family and friends.

    I really like the fact that everything is bigger easier to see than the idop nano I had. also, I like the fact that there is internet access available.

    I bought this for my Son last Christmas and he enjoys it very much. I was a bit hesitant at first but as long as he can navigate through it I'm Happy. I personally never had an Apple product but kids catch on FAST!

    I haven't had a need to get an iPhone, but an iPod touch is just as good, for what I us it for at least. Loved the blue metallic color and everyone compliment the color. I would recommend this to anyone.

    This touch does everything my older daughters phone does with the right apps, you just need to be on Wi-Fi or a hotspot when out in the car. My almost 9 year old thinks it's as good as having a real cell phone!
