    I got this for my 9 year old son for Christmas. He had an older version that wouldn't update any longer. Did a restore from a backup of his old Ipod and within about 20 minutes he had all of the items transferred from his old Ipod to the new one. I am not a big Apple fan but the rest of my household, 4 other people, all love Apple.
