Good purchase for younger children
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a parent of an 8 year old, I'm simply do not believe she is ready to have her own cellular phone and 24/7 internet and messaging access. The Apple i-Pod has helped our family resolve this issue and has been a good 'go between' until we feel she is of age to handle the accountability and responsibility of her own phone. Since we (as parents) use i-Phone products it was simple to set up parental controls and limit streaming content, social media, apps, music and messaging. We can also Facetime her and Instant message her and monitor all activity. It's a great product and offers a good option for parents who are looking for an alternative to a full blown iPhone.
