The time finally came to purchase a new iPod Touch since my old (2007) finally needed to be put to rest. It actually still plays, but doesn't hold a charge for more than 1 hour. This one is slimmer and lighter than the old one and fits nicely in a shirt pocket! Sound is just as good, and holds all my music and videos - with room to spare.

I purchased this IPOD as an "open box" item. It was said to be "new" & rated as "excellent condition." It worked great for 4 mos, then completely stopped. Thinking it was the battery, we took it to Apple to have the battery replaced. The rep stated "wow, this has really been taken well care of, not a scratch on the screen or the back." Turns out, the mother board is bad and because it was "refurbished" ITS NOT COVERED!

We purchased the iPod Touch 6th generation for our 12 year old son to use for playing Anki Overdrive. His previous model was an iPod Touch 4th generation and this was a significant improvement. He loves the slim design, sharp screen and responsiveness. We were disappointed, however, with the open box purchase we made. The item had Best Buy's highest rating for an open-box item - Excellent Geek Squad Certified. When it came the iPod Touch was rattling loose in the plastic case which was sealed with ugly security tape that screamed "used". The worst part for us was that the screen of the iPod itself was covered from top to bottom in smudges and fingerprints. We acknowledge the device works just fine and we've had no problem with performance but we were surprised that very little effort seems to have been made to clean and polish the device and present it looking as new as possible.

I was in able to use this because it was still connected to someone's iCloud and the password was not provided! What upset me was I read the review and this was supposed to be guaranteed by the geek squad and it was a waste of time and money! I was able to return it however it just sucked there was not another open boxed iPod and so I was going to have to spend 80 more to get the same product

This product is very good. We have enjoyed watching our son play on it

Too much hassle to simply upgrade the old iPod. would not sync with the iTunes on my computer

This ipod touch is outdated and is not worth the $200+ price tag. Display is really tiny.

Took way too long to set up. Just needed a music source for the office.

Unfortunately my grandson dropped his IPOD Touch into water for a few seconds and Best Buy would not help us in any way. VERY disappointed! Certainly not good customer service. Purchased replacement elsewhere and will continue to shop elsewhere as well.

I'm not sure what I was thinking other than I thought this would be the same size as an iPhone but I was dead wrong. I wanted to use this in my mavic pro but it was to small for the mavic controller.

This is the best update to the iPod Touch line since it went to the bigger screen size following the release of the iPhone 5. The iPod Touch desperately needed a processor update to match the new requirements of iOS for a smooth experience. The previous generation was very slow and laggy for things like Apple Music, a core feature of an iPod. It is now fluid, fast, with great battery life. I don't know if it's worth full price given an iPad Mini is not much more but if you can get one at 10-15% off, I think it's a great value.

You can't go wrong with Apple! This is a great product for pre-iPhone beginners. Great for games, photos, music, and streaming videos!

Preloaded apps take up to much space. Ear buds already quit working. Would not recommend this product.

This was too light and too small. I ended up returning it because I did not like it.

Having been familiar with my wifes iPhone, we figured an iPhone Touch would be a perfect choice for our birthday girl. At 8 years old, she doesn't need a phone...but she can play educational games and enjoy her music, text and facetime with family.

Together with other family members, I purchased this as a gift for a sibling. She loves it - never had a smartphone and can't afford a data plan right now, so this is the perfect way for her to join the mobile world without that extra expense. Obviously, it can only connect when there's wifi around, but fortunately many locales now offer that service. She tells me she uses this all the time for entertainment on the go, web searches, checking email and even texting. It's definitely a lot easier to get in touch with her now that she has this device. If I were to do this over, though, I'd definitely get at least the 32GB model. 16GB fills up very quickly when you want to use a reasonable number of apps AND have access to your whole music library. She has to be fairly picky about what songs she keeps on the device, unfortunately.

Gotta remember passwords just to download games got kids

I needed an iPod to store podcasts and to take on runs. My phone is filled with other things like photos and apps, and I didn't want to risk dropping my phone and damaging an expensive device. The iPod is great for these purposes and allows me to have a lot of music on-hand without having to negotiate space on my phone for it. It works great, and has given me no problems.
