    I bought this Ipod for my daughter who is 7. The parental controls are good on the ITunes store and it makes sure I approve everything she downloads even the free stuff. It does everything a phone can do when attached to Wi-Fi, which is almost everywhere now. Overall it is a great product and she has lots of fun thinking it is a phone.

    These ipods are still great devices. they do one thing very well, and that is PLAY MUSIC. Easy to use and setup, this is one of Apple's best inventions.

    The current generation of the ipod touch is fabulous. I was not willing to get my young kids iphones or ipad yet. Great compromise.

    I brought this for my son who wanted a apple smart phone for the apps and portability. Needless to say I wasn't paying for a iPhone. So I found that this device offers the same features and is affordable (well my son told me but you get the drift)
