Love this little guy keeps the kids quite intertained

I'd probably go with a phone over the iPod since you can pick up an iPhone for about the same money (the SE or 6+) and you get the added functionality. BUT, my kids don't need a phone function yet, and they wanted a way to stream spotify and be able to text while on our home wi-fi. Its perfect for that, and you don't have to add a line to your wireless bill going this route.

Very expensive for basically a music player. Not much storage for downloading apps or music

I like it for the most part the only thing I don't like it you can't listen to music shufflle by genre unless u put it in a playlist

Another kid saving money to purchase own ipod instead of getting a siblings old one as they moved into over priced smartphones.

Works great with my Sonos for streaming music. Small learning curve for someone who doesn't have an I-phone

Overall, this is a great phone. The only drawback is there's no headphone jack. Had to spend $40 for a dual adapter

I purchase this ipod for my son's 11th birthday. He loved it, until we sold it for a cell phone. He now regrets letting it go.
