Preparing for vacation our list had a camera for our young teen. This item was selected for it's size and capacity. Also it takes excellent photos and the ability to share them. My hotspot allowed me to have parental guidance.

I bought this for my daughters birthday, and it's been glued to her ever since!! She absolutely loves it, and I like the fact the parental controls are easy to set up so I can keep an eye on what she's doing with it.

Bought this for my 10 year old son. He loves it. Battery life could be better.

The Ipod is tried and true and has sleek design. Very good sound.

Music sounds great on this. I use this as an alternative to playing music through my phone so I dont use battery power

This is exactly what you'd expect from the current generation iPod Touch. It is very light weight and supports all of the current apps. Only drawback I've come across is the battery life is diminished when the bluetooth is on.

Good Camera, Fun, and really smooth. Really recommend this for parents to get for their kids.

I personally hate Apple products. But it's hard to beat their music players (if you don't mind being basically stuck with iTunes). My daughter wants an iphone badly, this ipod touch was my compromise with her. Got one for myself & my wife as well. We can facetime each other etc with them plus the mp3 player is top notch and plays nice with my car stereo system. All in all don't mind dipping my toe into the Apple pool for a music player this nice. Still not going in any farther though....lol

We purchased this iPod for our 9 year old son as a way for him to not only listen to all of his tunes, but also as a way of satisfying his desire to have a phone without actually getting him a phone. He can snapchat and facetime his buddies and play many different games. We downloaded a couple free apps - textme and freetone - that gave him his own phone number so we can call or text him as long as he is on a wifi connection. We are also able to imessage him from any other apple product. Very pleased.

I already had a blue one and my kids like it enough that I picked up another for them. It's easy to use and fits in my pocket. My only complaint is battery life. I would prefer they made it a little bigger to accommodate a larger battery.

Another outstanding product from Apple. Bought for daughters birthday and she loves it. Also helps that she can play her apps without draining my cell phone battery. A must for any parent that let their kids play with their phones.

simple to use and much improved from prior iPods, it connects wirelessly to my vehicle through bluetooth, which is a very nice feature
