The iPod Touch is s great introductory “phone” type device for kids. Even though it has no cellular antenna, you can still text via WiFi. A great device!

This was a replacement for our 13 year old niece's IPOD5 which fell and shattered - fortunately we had insurance on it and it was easy to get a new one at Best Buy

Bought both of my grandsons this I-Pod because they loved it so much. They are able to do a lot more with it than download music. They love it!

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it. It holds a good charge. And is has stopped her from asking me for my phone.

It is disappointing Apple only one making a decent small size device that can text, take pictures, play music and connect to internet. All the other reliable brands only make larger tablets. Would prefer a non Apple device. But with that said, it does work well for my daughter.

I bought this to use in my motorcycle so I can listen to my music when out on the road. Plugs right into the aux port on the faring. Love it.

It's great for while I'm at work cuz I download podcasts at home and listen at my job. My work doesn't have Wi-Fi so iPod is very convenient.

She will not use her phone for music, especially at work. She loves this since now she can do more with it and it uses same charging as her phone

My daughter wanted a iphone so instead we compromised on this, if she can take care of it . Then I’ll get her a iPhone. Great for kids

Daughter saved to purchase herself this Ipod. Apple of course sets the prices but requiring a credit card for activation not so much fun when we do not have decent Internet service and are stuck with dialup. It does not access Apple as they are set up for "real internet".

My 8 and 9 year old were dying for a cell phone (not going to happen) so I decided to get them both iPod touches! They LOVE them for iMessage and game apps.
