    My wife put a pretty good program on this so anything our son tries to search for, will come to her phone, is it's inappropriate. The downside is it can only make calls, or send texts, to other apple products. We knew it had to be connected to wifi to do either, but didn't realize it would only communicate with apple products. That was a disappointment.

    Purchased this ipod for my 4 year old daughter. It was to replace her broken ipad mini. Her grandfather accidentally drove over it in his newly purchased motorized scooter. She is very happy witjh it.

    It is for my son. He loves it. He can text and make calls and download a ton of free stuff. Perfect device for people who don't need a phone but still can have some of the perks of having a phone.

    My daughter is still too young, in my opinion, for a phone, so we upgraded her old iPod touch to this version. No surprises here. Still a great apple product. Works perfectly. The blue is a really nice color, too.
