Now almost 2018, the iPod touch is definitely showing it’s age. Battery life is mediocre unless you tweak it heavily. Performance is OK but nothing great. I doubt Apple will provide operating system updates for much longer. If you can avoid purchasing this, I would pass.

Great way to play your music library

My music library became too big to put on the smaller device, so this upgrade was really needed. Pairs easily with bluetooth speakers. This does so much more than just store music, but it is the primary function for me.

He has used it to download pbs kids and some of his favorite books. It allows me to regulate what can/can't be downloaded and I'm able to change the settings on the iPod to restrict anything inappropriate for my son.
