Got it for my sons 6th birthday only for use on WiFi, works great easy for him to navigate on his own I am able to set certain controls for what I want him to be able to do with it! He loves it he mostly plays games and chats with family through messenger, great choice if you don’t want to make the leap of getting the younger ones an actual phone.

easy to use great quality, great looking excellent product

Haven't had much luck with Apple products in the past. In general, I've felt that they're cheaply made and garbage. That being said,I needed a solution for my music while running so I decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves. Getting my music onto it is a bit cumbersome, but once there the sound quality is excellent, Paired very easily with my wireless ear buds, too. Pleased so far, but am waiting to see how it holds up in the "long runs".

The size makes it comfortable to carry. Love the color & sound.

Bought this for a niece. It feels too small and like not enough bang for the buck to me. Especially compared to a refurb iPhone 8 or even better an iPhone SE. The SE is double. But much better, imo. But this is not who this market is for. And I decided that for a kid, it does just fine. She can text us. Take pics, message friends or do video calls of various kinds. Also surf the net and listen to music. Not bad, with all those things in mind.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. Does basically everything a regular iPhone does. Perfect for younger kids.

Got this for my daughter age 10 because she wanted a phone. She loves it, has downloaded a few games, she can download music from iTunes, text and FaceTime as long as there is WiFi connection. Ever since we got her this she hasn’t asked for a phone at all, so the distraction worked besides the fact that she is too young for a phone..

Great device my son loves it. iPods are still in style

This was a gift for my nine year old niece. We felt she was not old enough for a cellphone so this was a great compromise. Easy to use and definitely a great product for kids. 2020 has introduced her class to zoom for online learning which has allowed her to use her iPod on days she doesn't want to use her laptop.

My granddaughter loves the IPod touch. She has an iPhone which she uses for when she is away from home and needs to call otherwise she uses the iPod which I purchased so she could listen to music without having the phone with her however it also has all the other apps

The iPod 7 can accept the current IOS updates. It was extra awesome that it was the same size as my old iPod so it fit into the same protective case. The Best Buy team showed me how it works so it made my choice easy.

I love that it does everything the iPhone does. Now days all kids want a phone but Phones and plans can be extremely expensive for someone who only want to use the device to play games, watch YouTube, and listen to music. I purchased this iPod for my 5 ear old and he' love it. He call it his phone

Great entry level device for older kids who aren't quite ready or needing a phone yet. Tons of apps, can also FaceTime, Messenger, and iMessage when connected to WiFi (does not connect cell networks). Used lots for streaming and / or dow loading music. 11 year old loves it.

Perfect size and easy to use even for our 9 year old!

My son loves this iPod touch. He wanted a phone but we weren’t ready to get into that just yet. The iPod uses WiFi and he can FaceTime audio or video chat with us. There are also free phone apps that gives him his own phone number if he needs to call or message someone who doesn’t have an iPhone.
