this is a mixed review... the ipod itself is awesome, and the salesfolks were equally awesome... my low-star review is in regards to BB's exchance policy that they so highly tout... i was originally misinformed and sold a lessor product, possibly based on my lack of info, but i tried to resell my old (1yr old) pristine ipod and was only offered $25! disappointing

If you want to get a new iPod and you don't know what to get I would suggest the 6th gen. It's the exact same size as the 5th gen infant I'm using mine in a 5th gen griffin technology case and it fits perfectly, the IOS can be updated easily whenever they do update it. It's definitely worth the money and can hold up for a while when you get a case for it. I suggest that if you were looking at the 5th gens that you get this with a 5th gen case.

Owned since May 19, 2016. Waited to post review until I had the chance to use for awhile. Music - music plays very clearly and has great quality sound. I have played through wireless Bluetooth headset, wired noise canceling headset and interrogated unit in my car, all work flawlessly and sound quality is very good. I do not use the integrated equalizer function. I have taken photos and videos, both are of good quality and very clear. I have added my email and found that when deteling email from the iPod the emails are also deleted from my email account, this I do not like therefore I removed the email account from the iPod. I have added a couple of apps (two streaming music apps and 1 app to connect to a wireless Bluetooth speaker that I use on the deck, in the yard and office, sound quality is good and battery life is excellent. I have streamed music for several hours (4) and the battery level is still 70%. This was my first Apple product, I am an Android Guy, but I have been very pleased with the purchase.

not as typical of what you would expect from Apple. I tried to complete a software update when i first got it - it would not go through. Also - when i have tried to sync my playlists - only partial lists come through. I am still trying to troubleshoot and re sync to get all the songs.

After a few months the iPod got locked on the lock screen with Siri speaking after every touch of the screen. Tried a hard reset but no change tried to reset with iTunes still nothing. My next move is to go to Apple Store. Not happy

I've had IPods before but never had problems loading all my music until this one. The people at Best Buy were no help either. Had to go online and get help from Apple.

JUST OPENED THE BOX AFTER 2 MONTHS AND IT WONT EVEN TURN ON. I PLUG IT IN AND NO CHARGING LIGHT COMES ON TAKING IT BACK TO STORE

Dissapointed that Apple does not allow transfer of entire music to the Ipod

The battery dies right after it is fully charged. Very bad purchase.

I was somewhat disappointed in the volume and the EQ functions on the device!!!

I truly love my iPod. My biggest problem with it is there aren't enough hours in the day for me to listen to it. It is very easy to use and downloading music and apps to it are a piece of cake. Plus the selection of music to choose from is so vast. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Have had this for a while and it has many problems with trying to play music, sound cuts out and sometime sound stops all together when using the ipod on other programs. Real bad design Apple

I have an older version i-Pod that is not blue tooth capable, this is why I bought this one. It doesn't have as much storage as my old one(128GB), but the bluetooth makes all the difference. Synced all my music, hooked right up and sounds awesome.

iPod bent in half in first weekend of use (in front pocket when i sat at a picnic table) . the metal is very poor quality and weak for a $300 device.

I purchased this for my wife for Christmas to replace 5th gen 32 gig. She was happy for more storage. I was happy to find it on sale for the same price I paid for the old one. It's the only product to do what it does for it's size (very important to my wife) without getting expensive smart phone & plan.

If you are looking for a light weight and has apps, camera, Nike-running for daily exercise, you may concern to have it.

Good sized screen, crisp display and graphics. Internet connection is much more stable and noticeably faster on this iPod than on my 4th generation iPod and battery life and camera are better on this iPod versus the 4th gen. iPod. Great for gaming and, of course, listening to music. The A8 chip in this model does make a difference in terms of performance improvement.

I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. The parental restrictions in iOS allow me to limit her capabilities. She loves sending iMessages to her grandparents and cousins. It gives her some of the capabilities of a phone without the service plan. The camera is really improved in this new version as well.

Great product and good price. Good battery life, great screen and nice camera. It's light weight and slim.

Sadly, this doesn't hold half of my music collection. I don't play games, take pictures, make videos, or use any apps. My classic 160 iPod headphone jack doesn't work so i got this. Sounds great but just not enough storage.
