    despite what it claims, the usb ports do not work with anything but a mouse device. you cannot hook up a flash drive, hard drive, or a camera to the usb ports, all of which it claims to support. conclusion is that it is intentionally disabled to work this way as USB is supposed to be universal. otherwise it would be a great designed keyboard... tried, under OS 10.11, multiple cameras and drives, nothing worked except various mouse devices, not even self powered devices.

    the apple usb wired keyboard is just okay. it has the same feel as the 2010-ish laptops with the addition of the numerical keypad. decent action. the main cons are that is gets dirty quick and the usb ports only work with mice or cameras, you cannot hook up a flash drive or powered hub to it... it is s0ft/hardware disabled for that function... so do not get it is you think you can plug in a low profile pen drive and have it accessible right at your hands..
