I got tired of changing batteries often in the original imac keyboard. This one is great & also has separate numeric keypad on the right which is quite helpful.

I bought two of these to replace the Mac wireless keyboard which had horrible battery life. These are nicer seeing the fact that you have the functionality of the 10-key touch at hand.

The build quality for this Apple keyboard is superb; the aluminum body keeps it very solid and each key's range of motion is perfect. It's very easy to type with and is nice and quiet. If you're getting a Mac, do yourself a favor and pick one of these up. Plus with the numeric keypad it's extremely functional.

It's a really good wired keyboard with two USB utilities attached to it, it's convenient to plug your HArd disk/USB device to your keyboard. It's quick and responsive, it has a nice elegant finish. The only missing component is the backlight to the keys, that would be have been great to have to work at night.

Excellent keyboard for Macs. It's nice having the full number pad, which is missing from the Magic keyboard. It's also nice having 2 extra USB ports and not having to charge the keyboard.

I like having the ten key number pad, never move my keyboard away from the computer, and with this non-Bluetooth keyboard, it never needs recharging like the wireless mouse.

Originally purchased one that was not Apple brand and returned the same day because there is no comparison. The keys and design feel perfect. It's great to have the number keypad for accounting work.

If you have a Mac, this is the keyboard to get. not just because it's an apple keyboard, but because it's the right tool for the job. with all the functionality this keyboard offers, you should spend the money to have the right tool.

I wish that Mac would just sell this keyboard with their iMac. It would make so much sense! I now have an extra keyboard just sitting in a drawer, all sad and alone with no need to be used. Poor thing.

Why is this review missing a star? Because they don't illuminate this keyboard. Seems like a design oversight to have the macbook's keyboard illuminate but then not put that same option on their full sized keyboard for desktops. Other than that, its key are very responsive and the minimal design goes along with most PCs that have been released within the last couple of years. Plus, you could probably defend yourself from a zombie horde with this thing, being that it is solid aluminium.

Missed having the number key pad would have given five stars if it was back lit and usb 3.0 ports which is standard now.

I hated that my wireless keyboard had no number pad. This solved that problem. Space key is annoyingly noisy though.

With a sleek look and responsive keys, the USB keyboard with number pad gets the job done. Decisive key strokes feel a bit different than my PC keyboard, but are easy to get used to.

The main difference between the wireless keyboard and the USB keyboard is the number pad. If you work with numbers a lot, opt for the larger USB keyboard with the number pad, but if you don't, this keyboard is a good functional option. I've often used this in conjunction with my laptop.

Was looking for a full size keyboard for my MacBook. Great responsiveness. Only wished it had back-lit keys.

Most keyboards these days are wireless but I got this wired one for my Mac mini and I really like it. It's bigger than the wireless version so the key spacing is a lot better. And I like the 2 built-in USB ports although the locations are a little inconvenient for using a mouse or trackpad right next to the keyboard (would be better if they were located on the rear side). Pretty happy with it though. Wish it was a little cheaper but that is true of all Apple products.

I bought this keyboard for my wife's new Mac. She loves the way the keyboard's keys feel and the fact that it has 2 USB ports on the side for charging/syncing other devices.

Quality Apple replacement for a 9-year old Apple keyboard that finally stopped working. Assuming this one will last at least as long. Also like the numeric keyboard!

I'm an accountant and love that this keyboard has the number keypad. Plus it has 2 USB ports which is a great feature since my Macbook Pro only has 2. Easy to set up and works great.
