This larger keypad has both delete and forward delete, unlike the smaller keyboard that came with the Mac. The numeric keypad is great. If only the shopping experience were as good: Best Buy would not honor my awards points on this purchase--even though they gave me more points for making the purchase!

i bought this keyboard because i found the original wireless keyboard's keys to be too small and closely spaced. Although this keyboard added a keyboard and a few extra keys, the size and spacing of the keys was identical.

There is nothing bad to say about this. The key press is perfect. Spacing is perfect. It is my perfect keyboard.

this is the 2nd keyboard i buy. The first one stopped working after a year or so. I like it because of the numeric keypad

Yes, it's Apple, but works just as well as any other. No special features that differentiates it from the next.

Since my MacPro didn't come with a keyboard, I did a huge search online looking for a quiet, low profile keyboard; preferably black to match the computer and monitors, but all the keyboards I found were made of plastic and flexed under my typing. So I ended up coming back to old faithful and am truly happy with it.

Our family has 3 of the Apple keyboards. Two of our children use with their iPads. We purchased the full size keyboard because our children have large hands and the iPad cases with built in keyboards were to small. We just recently purchased a keyboard for me to use with our new laptop. I enjoy the feel of this keyboard.

Works great. In hind sight, wish I would have gotten the wireless, but the savings is why I chose what I did.

Functionality is great the only thing I find annoying is there is a cable. Other than that Great and pretty!

Keyboard works great. Love the 10key side panel. Only downfall is having to change the batteries often

I highly recommend the wired keyboard. It is far better than the wireless one, which stalls and is clearly slower. I mistakenly believed the wireless keyboard would be a convenient option, even without the numeric keypad on the right side which really is very needed for speed and accuracy.

The extended keyboard is true to the Apple traditional layout with the addition of some keys (page up, down, up/down/left/right arrows and the numeric key). PRO: numeric keypad and extra control keys, exact Apple layout CON: very light mechanical response/feedback, hard to clean Summary: I use the numeric key extensively, so I would recommend it to anyone that needs that (beats an external 10-key pad)... would love to have the keys have better tactile feedback.

When I was in college in the 2000s, my roommate's typing at his keyboard would keep me up at all hours. Apple has done a phenomenal job ensuring that that noisiness is a thing of the past, as these keys are extremely quiet and lightweight. This keyboard is worth the price in my opinion.

The keyboard comes with setup directions. They were not necessary. It worked perfectly right out of the box.

I am very happy that I upgraded my keyboard to include the number pad. I use the number pad a lot for my job.

I especially want to thank Best Buy Apple Associate Troy in Richfield MN. He is always attentive and goes the extra mile for me and my 81 year old mom. He helped me trouble shoot some challenges with my past keyboard and got me hooked up with this new one that is working great. Caleb and Ravey are also very helpful.

I bought this Apple wired keyboard to replace my solar powered wireless Logitech keyboard. The logitech would not hold a charge any longer. So I decided to go wired. It works perfectly fine and would recommend this.

Used in place of an old dell keyboard. Massive improvement. works well with the surface book when docked.
