I like the corded keyboard because I do use the extended numeric part on the right. I cannot say I have experimented with many other keyboards, but I always keep coming back to the apple brand. I really like the feel of the keys while typing. I do recommend it, but wish they would make an extended cordless one. I would get it.

I sit in a large office space with 7 other people. One of my co-workers types a lot all day long, which is fine except he has a very heavy keystroke and with the keyboard he had been using, it was grating on everyone's nerves. By the end of each day you could see the tension in all of our faces from having to listen to the click, click, click all day long. I finally decided to save our sanity and get him a new keyboard that was quieter. I looked at several models and while there were several out there that touted a quiet, almost silent keystroke, most of them cost a lot more and they were not made by Apple, Because I was worried abut compatibility I decided to get the one that was designed for the MAC and hoped that it would be quiet enough for our needs. I am very pleased to announce that our area is now very quiet and we are all at peace again. While it doesn't stop all the keystroke noise of a heavy handed user, it does cut down on the noise substantially.

I love this keyboard, we had a wireless keyboard but you don't get any warning about the battery being dead. We were sick of scrounging up batteries from everywhere and decided to chuck that keyboard and ran out to purchase this one! I love it, no battery's, easy to clean and the keys have the perfect amount of sensitivity while typing. Great purchase!

Great keyboard and really meets our needs. It has everything we need, including a number keypad, which is essential to me! It is ver easy to set up and use. No batteries needed. Much easier and comfortable to use than a wireless keyboard!

I had purchased a cheaper compatible for the mac pro that didn't work out due to the functions keys. I ended up getting the apple brand like I should have done in the first place! Lesson learned, hope this saves anyone else from this, purchase the apple brand for MacBooks, I especially wanted the number pad with mine and this one is awesome!

To me this is a great keyboard especially since I work with numbers in a lot of what I'm typing. So if you do the same please grab yourselves one of these Apple keyboards with the numbers on the right side of keyboard and guaranteed you'll love this item as much as I do and several friends who also have already changed over to this keyboard. While purchasing my Mac Mini, I realized I needed a keyboard, and after hearing the horrors my roommate went through when his batteries died in his wireless keyboard, and he couldn't type in his password to unlock his computer, then added in the fact that I sit 18 inches from my screen, I decided to save $20 and get the wired keyboard. As an added bonus, this keyboard has a set of number keys, calculator style, on the side, and 2 hidden usb ports, so I don't have to dig around the back of the computer to plug in a thumb drive! This keyboard isn't backlit, and that isn't a problem for me, but that would be my only conceivable thing to change within the realms of reality. Outside of reality, it would buy me pizza whenever I wanted and change the oil in my car for free. In reality, this is a great keyboard.

I was so glad I made this purchase. The keyboard that came with my imac was too small so I got this bigger one. What makes it so unique is the fact that it is solar. The light is what makes it work and you don't have to worry about any battery replacement. It automatically connect with computer even the F keys. You don't have to sync. A must have.

While the wireless keyboard suited my needs, I found it necessary to invest in a keyboard offering a numeric pad to the right of the keys rather than hunting at the top of the keyboard. After using this new addition, I am very pleased with the feel and function. One drawback is it is not wireless; however, I am willing to forego that feature.

I love that this keyboard has a number pad. I would have given it 5 stars if it was wireless but it works great and has to additional USB ports.

It's been a few months I have had this and I realized that I should have just got this one the first time instead of the wireless one , but I am a very forgiving man and so I forgave myself on this error. No more annoying alerts about low battery or Bluetooth disconnect - I already have a wife , so I don't need any more annoyances in life than necessary. In conclusion, this keyboard has improved my quality of life. Feels good on the fingers , responsive and quiet . As long as your don't submerge it your coffee , this should last for a really long time unlike its wireless brother.

Purchased to go with my iMac 2009. It is very compact. I love the number pad on the side. It also has 2 USB ports, one on each side of the keyboard. It is a great replacement and a must have if you have a iMac.

Finally switched from a PC to a Mac and my Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard just looked way too big compared to my Mac Book Air. I went with this keyboard because it was the only Apple keyboard with dedicated number keys which I need for my job. It blends well, and it only took me about two days to get used to a flat keyboard (as opposed to the breakaway, curved keys of the ergonomic one). I think the best part about it, is the access to the action keys for OS X, such as dashboard, expose' etc. It also has two USB ports underneath, which are a big bonus considering the fact that my Air only has 2 USB ports.

I bought this keyboard for when I work in clamshell mode on my MacBook. This necessary purchase is one that was made without regret--these have been packaged with Macs for years and it is reliable as can be. I opted for this over the bluetooth capable Apple keyboard due to the number pad (I love me some 10-key action).

After owning this keyboard for just a few days, I can honestly say I'm in love with it. It's quiet, the function keys are useful, and the numpad is very useful! The only con I could find is the End and Home buttons. They don't work as you'd expect when typing in a text box or form field. Otherwise, great product!
