Purchased the camel color leather case and it looked black and dirty in just a few days. One you drop this a couple of times, the leather will look terrible. This was a complete waste of my money and it wasn't cheap.

I bought the brown leather case for my white/gold iPhone 5s. Gorgeous color combination. Nice leather with great leather smell. Feels great. Fits phone perfectly. All cutouts exact. Decent protection without bulk. Love the Apple logo on the back. I have had it for two weeks and it still looks new (has't gotten dirty like other reviewers mentioned). Sure, on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I love it!

Designed by Apple specifically for the iPhone 5s/5, this case fits absolutely perfect around the device without adding much bulk at all and is crafted from durable leather. I opted for the black color because I figured it would be less susceptible to damage/debris and so far, so very good. This case covers the majority of the device including the lock button, the volume buttons, the speaker/microphone areas and the back of the phone while leaving the ring/silence switch, the 3.5mm headphone jack, the lighting connector and the front screen exposed. With that being said, all of the covered buttons function just fine and the speaker/microphone sound quality isn't compromised at all. I have purchased MANY cases for my iPhone 5 and this is the best one yet. A bit of a steep price tag for a case, but well-worth it if you want good protection, a snug fit, all without adding any bulk. Highly recommended!

In our home we all have iPhone 5 or 5S. And different kinds of cases. So when Apple announce that they had created a case for the iPhone I needed to try it. Well it feels great, it fits like a glove and it is made out of the highest quality. It makes the phone feel great to the touch and protects without been bulky. It's leather so over time it will form its own chara

The first one broke in two places, by the ear phone jack and the silence switch. Now this one won't stay on. Poorly made.

Nice case but the leather didn't hold up for long. It started showing rub marks very quickly within a couple weeks .

It looks good new but after few weeks the leather broke on the corners and it looks rredlly bad

This case really protects your phone well and looks very attractive. The color compliments the iPhone 5s. It feels really nice to grip and is not slippery. My main complaint with this color is that it starts to turn black on the edges and corners. After about two weeks the case really shows the wear and does not look as nice. It is leather so this cannot really be avoided. I imagine it would be even worse on the lighter colors. I would recommend the black leather due to hiding the dirt. Overall the case is decent and protects well. I give the brown case an average rating because it looks gross and dirty after a couple weeks. I attached a picture so your can see what I am referring to. It should also be noted that nearly every brown leather case has a slightly different color. Some are darker and some are a lighter brown.

Dont waste your money!! This is a joke of a case. I liked the color but that faded in just a couple of days. Its not strong or protective at all. Stay away!

After two months the cover looks bad. Showing scrapes, cuts, and discoloration.

I resisted putting my phone in a case for a long time but my wife finally talked me into it. I'm glad she did. I love this case. It fits the phone perfectly does not add to the balk of the phone. Feels great in your hand. And best of all still slides in and out of your pocket easily.

A great, protective, and stylish case to accompany iPhone. The microfiber lining protects the reverse of iPhone against scratching if dust/debris enter into the case, not allowing the particles to rub against and scratch the backside of the phone. Since it's designed by Apple and was made alongside iPhone 5s, the case fits snuggly & all the cutouts match perfectly with their respective ports/mics/speakers. And it fits iPhone 5 perfectly as well.

I used an Otterbox case for a couple of years. It was a great case but way to bulky.The apple case is very thin and still offers good protection .

If you're looking for an iPhone 5/5s case, don't settle for anything other than this Apple made product. This case provides ample protection for the average user. The case itself is very rigid and fits the phone very tightly. There is absolutely no wasted space which makes the phone feel very slick and slim even with a case on. There is slight lip on the case which allows you to put the phone face down on a table. The lip, however, does not go over the screen like most other cases do. This means that there is a slight gap between the edge of the screen and the case. I put this as a con for protection reasons, but I haven't really noticed any dirt or debris falling into the gap. The black case looks fantastic on the black iPhone 5s. It feels really good in the hand, just like holding a nice wallet. The leather does not pick up fingerprints or oils easily which is a big plus in my book. The buttons are very easy to press and this case makes the button presses silent instead of having a loud click each time. I definitely recommend this case for the average user. However, if you're the kind of person that has an intensive job or like going on wilderness adventure or the like, I would recommend a slightly more protective case as this will get dirty from such activities and won't provide enough protection for your phone.

Bought this after already purchasing another after-market black leather case for an iphone 5s that wore out quickly. The leather of this case appears to be higher quality. This also fits excellently and so far has held up nicely. Downside was the price but it was no better at any other online/in-store retailer. I would recommend this,

Fits on the phone very well - and much more durable than other cases I've used. I've blown through 4 cheap cases I got off ebay (all under $20) and this one has been worth the extra money - it has also lasted much longer (I'm at 9 months now). It has a slim-feel, and doesn't add a huge bulky/weighty feel like most cases either.

We all have iPhones 5 or 5S in our home so we need many cases. I purchase the red one and this black one because it seems like this are the colors that would hold better. So until now that is the case, they don't get dirty or discolor. They feel great to the touch and protect the phone without being intrusive. it's not bulky and the locations for the buttons are in the right place. As always Apple creates another quality product.

This case looks very good and fits my iPhone just right. Maintains the slimness of my phone and doesn't cover up the face so the sleekness of my phone isn't covered up. This is a soft leather material case, not one of those hard cases so you can probably damage it pretty easily if you don't take care of it. But it will protect your phone and thats whats most important. So far I haven't had any issues with it.

Excellent case, Apple did it right. Leather is beautiful, fits nice and snug with the iPhone and it looks AMAZING. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a case. I cannot comment on the protection aspect, but the case protrudes slightly so the screen does not touch the surface when faced down.

At first I had a different more protective case that was just too bulky. I had a protection plan, therefore I wanted something slim and sleek that didn't feel like super glue when trying to pull it out of my pocket. Apple's case did just that. It was small but still felt great and was smooth when retrieving it from my pocket. I did read reviews that said that it was difficult to press the power and volume buttons. It was easier that the other case I had and felt great to me. You don't hear a "click" but the button is still just as easy to press. My one con on this case is its discoloration. I read reviews about it getting discolored over time; I did not expect "over time" to be about a week. My red case is now quite dull and has black marks where I grip it. But I care more for feel rather than look. If you don't drop your phone often or have a protection plan and want a premium case that is slim and sleek, Apple's leather case is a must.
