Really Expensive but Works

It does work exactly the way I needed it to, but for such a small adapter, it was really expensive. Something like this should not cost more than the power cord. As far as recommending it to a friend, my answer would really be "I guess," and that is only if they needed to connect a newer iPhone to an older dock.
