Product works great when it works

The cable works off and on and I'm sure it's just faulty. I use this to play music in the care from the old 30-pin connector that is already in the car.

It connects fine, but the iPhone is not recognized by the radio/CD player. Might be a problem with the radio, not the reviewed adapter, just don't know yet.
