I need it

cord separates easily

These apple cables are made to break.

Did not fix my problem

This piece was supposed to allow my iPhone 5 to use the port which charged and allowed audio to play from the iPhone4 through the car stereo system. Needless to say, the piece only connected my iPhone5 to play music through the car - it did not simultaneously charge my phone.
