This adapter works well. I just don't like that I can't use it while my phone is in it's case. I feel I should have gotten the one that has a cord not just the adapter and that would have solved this problem.

Works great for enabling my new iPhone to be able to doc on my older Bose music player. The only reason I am rating it as three stars is because of the price, which I feel is a little too high for an adapter.

Does not work! Be careful as well! Waited a few days to try it and didn't realize I had only 14 days to return it. Went in on day 15 and couldn't return it. Stuck with an adapter that doesn't work.

As stated above, the adapter works and all, but in order for it to fit my iPhone 5s I have to take the case off of it. This actually ruined my case. And it's annoying. I have 2 iPads and an iPod that use the older firewire so I wanted to use the adapter for ease, but now I just have extra chargers everywhere and have to keep switching them out. I don't even know why they bothered changing it. Apple should know that their users are loyal to all their products. If they are going to be proprietary with the design of their chargers it needs to be consistent across all devices.

This product works well playing my music through my car system using my old iPod and my iPhone 7s I only give 3 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Because it doesn’t charge my devices

I purchased this for no other reason than I absolutely needed to. It isn't Best Buy's fault that this is needed, but it is absolutely overpriced. It works just fine from a functionality standpoint.

Bought this so my iPhone 5 would be compatible with my iPod dock on my Bose Theater system. Works great for audio, i.e. if you just want to use it to play songs from your iTunes account. However, this converter does not convey any video/pictures from my iPhone to my Bose system. Was told by Bose that it appears to be a hardware issue and there is currently no system update from Bose that will fix the problem. In my opinion, Apple should design a compatible converter. Can only give it a fair rating because it can only do half the job I need it to do.

The pin arm is too short to fit when you have a case on the iPhone. It works well when you completely remove you case. Makes it difficult to use in the car

Purchased the item and went to hook up my phone and this item did not fit due to my Otterbox case. Apple should know most people protect their phones. Returned item for corded version.

Unfortunately, it's too late for me to return this. I have to remove the Otterbox I bought to attach the adapter, and then I discovered that the thirty-pin adapter doesn't fit. Bummer.

Works great but the connection plug to phone is short so it requires taking your case off to synchronize. Should have made it the same length as the actual charging cord

The adapter works fine but you have to remove you phone case every time you use it because the end that connects to the phone is not long enough and I have a pretty thin phone case.

works great for charging, you just have to take it our of the phone case because the pin isn't long enough to charge while in the case. No big deal, just a pain to do each night.

I bought this product as a back up for my iPhone using my older charger. The the plug in needs to be longer so it can be used with items with cases that are not easily removed.

This is simply an adapter that converts the older Apple 30-pin ipod connector for newer lighting connectors. Cost seems high for what it is - but that's Apple!

Bought it for my car because I wanted to play music from my iPhone 7. Does what it’s supposed to do although it doesn’t charge your phone

Work great for charging but I have to take the case off each time I use it. If the lighting port was slightly longer, it would work perfectly, without removing the case.

I hate how apple changed their connection to charging cables. After buying a new device and having old speakers needed this connector.

It's a shame that Apple asks so much money for a piece of plastic and a little metal. It works - you just begrudge the high price on such a simple item.

I didn't want to buy this but I had no choice. when Apple makes changes you either make the change or you buy stuff like this. This was a cheaper option.
