It works on my bose sound dock, but not on the apple dock plugged into the stereo receiver. I would have returned it had it not worked with the bose.

It's way over priced for doing nothing more than making cables compatible. Worse yet if you have a case on your $500+ iPad Air (and who wouldn't at that cost) this won't plug into your iPad Air or iPhone 6 for that matter. I have the apple case on my iPad Air and this adapter and the wire adapter version of this won't plug into the Air unless I take it out of the case. I could understand over sites like this with 3rd party products...but come on...it's all top dollar Apple gear.

Brought it back because this only fits on the phone if you have no cover on your phone. Wasnt going to take my cover off every time I use it

Works well but I had to take off my iPhone case whenever I wanted to use it since lighting doesn't connect with case on.

Wanted to use it to mount newer iPhone on older clock radio. Plug did not fit without removing case every time. Not useful for the price.

This adapter did not work with my case. I don't believe it would work with any case. However, when I removed my phone from the case it worked great.

if you have a protective case on your phone, then the lightening connector isn't long enough ( with respect to flat base of adapter) to fully engage

Not exactly cheap. I even specifically asked a tech before I bought it if it would work for what I wanted it to. Unfortunately it does not.

It adapts so the new Nano can connect to my car system but sadly it does not charge the Nano the way the old 30 pin plug did.

We bought this item as an adapter for our older iPhone docking station. We previously had iPhone 4 phones which we could charge on the iPhone docking station. We recently bought iPhone 7's and they didn't fit the old docking station so purchased the adapter to attach to top of station. Did not make a connection w phones which were in a lightweight case, and was flimsy! Had to return.

I should have gotten the one that has a short cord on it instead as this one requires taking the case off the iPhone each time.

This doesn't work if you have your iPhone 6 in a case. You have to purchase another wire to go in between. Very disappointing.

I ended up having to return it so that I could get one with a dongle so that I had room to attach it to the car's stereo sytem

This product did not work when I tried to connect it to a tower speaker, could have been the tower though.

Bought to use with a 4s phone size charger. pin is too short when Otter box is on phone. Inconvenient to remove case

Got this to use with a docking station. It didn't work the way I had hoped it would. Had to return it.

The item is too pricy. i could find an exact same product for 10 times lesser cost

The lightning end of the adapter is too short to reach the phone when there is a case on the phone.

Every time I would pull my phone off this adapter it pulls out of the connection

The adaptor worked fine but I had to remove my phone case to use it. It just wasn't convenient.
