I just love this adapter. I got it for the hookup in my car for my iPod. I paid $90 for the cord 4 years ago and when I got a new iPod, the cord was useless. I eventually found this adapter and it finally works again!

First off this adapter is smaller than i had expected, I have a Sony Clock Radio dock and it works perfect. I also have my Iphone in an Otterbox Defender Case and at first I thought it didn't fit, but all I had to do was give alitte pressure and the adapter slid right it, it is kind of nice because the otterbox holds the adapter in very snug and I feel it is more secure, I am very please with my purchase.

I don't understand the other reviews. I have an ihome am/fm iphone docker charger. I always remove the case (TwelveSouth) which also doubles as a wallet, to charge my phone. Ten seconds to remove the case does not compare to the $100plus I would have to spend for another ihome product. To those who are considering the adapter I would say "I love this product." To those who complain about having to remove their case I say "Deal with it and just be glad you have an option to use the new technology".

I bought this open box lighting pin to put on my bose external speaker system ....works great...nothing wrong with it, it was cheaper than a new one by at least $10.00 ....good deal!!

Sometimes get a warning when plugging in that this product may not be supported by device (on phone) but then works just fine.

I'm not sure why so many people say it doesn't work. I made sure to get the genuine Apple version since iOS7 won't work w/ knock offs (must be MFi). I bought 2 of these adapters and have used them on multiple devices w/o any issues. It worked on the following: Kenwood iPhone/iPod cable for the Kenwood nav unit in my truck, Logitech PureFi Anywhere, and my cheapo generic dock I had for my 4S. It charges and plays audio on all 3 of them. Best Buy also price-matched a competitor's advertised price for me, saving $5 on each of them.

I bought this product for my 2015 audi a4 that came with the old iphone 4 cable, this adapter fits perfect and I can now play my music from my iphone 5.

I bought this item to connect to a car which required their brand of USB-ish connection. The adapter did not work with the other adapter...error message on my phone that it would not work. I assume that it works well if you connect to another Apple-brand connector.

Does exactly what I need it to do...play my iTouch in my bose speakers!

If your using this with a charging station or iHome speaker be careful you don't knock the device as the small insert may snap off. Other than that great adapter.

Love/hate relationship with Apple continues. Bought the Apple part that converts a 30-pin connection to a Lightening (8 pin) connection because I just upgraded from the 4s to the 5s and didn't want to spend a fortune on new cables/speakers/docks/car chargers. Apple's converter will not fit into the iPhone 5x when it's in a case, as mine always is. I've found several companies that make convertors that will fit through a case into the iPhone 5x, so I returned the Apple converter and will buy off label. Best Buy customer service knew why I was returning the Apple adaptor before I even told them.

My Hyundai Genesis coupe came with a 30-pin apple cart connector cable. When I upgraded my iPhone, I needed a lightning adapter so I tried a few cheap ones on Amazon and none of them worked. This adapter was pricier but it works perfectly with the car connector cable for music and also charges my iPhone 6 as well. This is nice because there music quality is better than over Bluetooth and I can see all the pertinent info about the music on the navigation screen as well. It plugs into the phone pretty flush do you'll need a case that is open at the bottom or take it off most likely. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this so i can use my bose sound dock again, sure it looks weird when my iPhone5 is docked using this but just so happy i am able to use it again.

Great little adapter if you need to have backward compatibility with your old 30 pin accessories and does the job. Way overprice for just a adapter
