For those of us who have acquired Apple products over the years, these are handy to have around. You never know when it will come in handy. I got it because my 2010 car's connector is the 30 pin style. Now I can plug my iPhone 6 into the sound system.

The lightning adapter is smaller than expected which is great and functions as expected helping my older 30-pin accessories work with my new iPhone and iPad. My only gripe is that I wish it were cheaper!

I am sure this worked fine, but it wouldn't fit with the case I had on my phone. I had one for an older phone and it fit fine. I thought since it was an Apple product it would work with my case, but it didn't.

Needed to convert Aux cord that connects to my audio system in my car from a 30 pin to work with an iPhone 7. Plugged in the converter and it worked perfectly. Much cheaper fix than the dealership wanted for an updated cord.

This adapter came in very handy for use with older Apple 30-pin accessories and the new Apple devices that use the Lightning connector. Until Apple changes the technology again I should be able to use this.

I have an old 5 disc DVD changer with an iPod docking station. Now that I own an iPhone 6, I could not play my music during dinner party's. Until I found this adapter. Now I can listen to my music again, it also charges my phone faster than before.

This is the only adapter I can use so that my ipod can play on my radio docking station. My last one would charge my ipod but stopped allowing the music to play through the radio so I had to replace it.

This works great as a transition so you don't have to buy all new car charger, extra wall chargers, or even replace iPhone accessories that have a dock. All you need is to plug in this adapter and it works on all accessories across the board!!

I just received an old guitar which was used for iPads and recognized that this had different connector. Best Buy representative kindly introduced me this product and this is not connected to my new iPad. Great stuff.

The adapter allows me to use an older but excellent MP3 player with my iPhone 6. I was happy to find it because I was afraid I would have to give up the player. The adapter is easy to use, and has held up to the daily plugging and unplugging.

I have a charger for my car but when I purchased an IPad the connection didn't fit the charger. I was at Best Buy for another reason and the worker suggested this adaptor. I've used it when on a trip and I want to read while my mate drives.

I had an expensive docking station that used the 30-Pin connection. Since I had updated my phone it no longer fit. This adapter was just the thing to connect my new phone to the docking station to continue to use it as a great stereo system.

I bought this adaptor hoping to use it with an iPhone 5 or 6 and an iPad Mini connecting to iHome (speakers) and iHome System (iP9) that had worked with an older iPad and iPhone having the 30-pin connection. Well, it doesn't work because the little adaptor won't 'hold up' the iPad or iPhone with the lightning connection being so small. Also, any cover on a iPhone or iPad prevents the lightning connection from fully inserting, the cover must be taken off first. Outside of the above limitations, the adaptor will work and may be needed in transitioning between old and new.

The adapter works very will in connecting any 30 pin connector to a lightning device. Works with a 30 pin power cord as well as docks which are 30 pin. It is expensive and can be easy to loose.

I needed two converters so $60.00 later I felt like they were overpriced. This should be a $10.00 product. I still have the big IPOD and now the Nano so I wanted to play either on my docking station.

This little piece of plastic is great for connecting your iphone (lightning port) to an older bose dock. Has worked well over the last few months... I just cant figure out why is it so expensive?!?!

Bought this one first before getting the one with the cable. The challenge is the lightning side is a bit short in length and could not use unless I took off my phone cover.

We needed a new adapter to fit our ipod doc station after upgrading our ipod. It's been awesome! Only problem, we have to remove the cover we have on the ipod, because it is a little too thick for it to be connected. Other than that, great!

Not much to say here. A simple adapter that works like it should. (even though it is overpriced/over rated apple stuff)But that's not Best-Buys fault. Gotta have it of you want to do certain things with your over rated apple products. ;-)

This product works as it should, but when using in conjunction with the iHome alarm clock, it is very hard to get your phone docked because of the piece in the back holding your phone upright.
