We bought this so we could use our iPods & iPhones with our stereo. Works Great, Much Easier that dealing with connection cords. Is even compatible with our Bose Speaker. If you're not sure, buy it... comes in handy.

I had lost hope that I could use my Bose Sounddock while charging my iPhone. The adaptor works perfectly. And it's not too bad looking with the adaptor and the iPhone together on the Sounddock. Thanks Apple for making this!!!

I needed an adapter to use my Yamaha iPod doc when I upgraded to iPhone 6. Went into Best Buy and the sales person took me right to this apple product. Works perfectly. I highly recommend to all who upgraded their phone.

I have an older Bose radio with the IPhone 4 or 4S connection. Now that I upgraded my phone to IPhone 5S, I use this adapter for my 5S to place music / charge battery. It works great!

It works great. I have purchased several cheaper non apple adapters that do not work. Save your money and but the apple converter, as it will save you money in the long run, as it is the only one I find that will work.

There is little to say about such a simple gadget: it works. Specifically, it allows me to use a newer iPhone (with a lightning jack) with a boom box designed to mate with an old click-wheel iPod.

I steered away from this for so long bc of cost but after reviews of cheaper knockoffs, I decided to go for it. It's totally worth the investment instead of buying a whole new system that has the lightning port :)

I purchased 4 of 30 pin adapters from Amazon for about 1 tenth the price of Best Buy and not even one works. Best Buy cost more but works . I use mine for 2 radios , blood pressure monitor and glucose tester .

I bought this to connect my iPad Air to my speaker designed for iTunes and iPhones. Problem is, the plug is only as wide as a phone or iTunes,,, can't fit an iOad in there! Bummer!

At first it seems a bit much for an adapter but with this you don't have to buy your accessories again. I've tried some of the cheaper off brand versions but none of them will output audio. I definitely recommend this.

I purchased this for my wife so she could have a way to use her alarm clock which is also a stereo. So far there are no problem with it and it works well with the IPhone 6 plus.

This makes it possible for me to still use my old chargers, cords, and speakers with my new Apple iPod. It is frustrating that Apple makes changes in design and forces us to spend MORE money when we purchase a new product.

I am using this adapter to connect my sound system with my iPhone 7plus. It does the job but the connection is a bit wobbly due to the weight of my iPhone.

I bought this to make my iPhone 6 Plus work with the music player I had for my iPhone 4. Only it's short. The lightening end is too short to make it through the case I have on my iPhone 6 Plus. I don't know about anyone else, but these phones are too expensive for me to risk use without some kind of protective case. There's another version that has a cord, but it's too short for me to easily lay the iPhone on the counter while connected. Kind of frustrating, to say the least. Think twice before buying this is my advice.

We have a total of 5 Bose Sounddock units, all with the older inserts. We needed adapters so we can play tunes through them with our new iPhones and iPods, and this works well.

If you’re using a cover on your phone it might not fit all the way into your phone- you’ll have to remove the cover or as I have been doing- peel back the bottom portion for the plug to fit.

This adapter saved us! I have an older version on an adapter but recently purchased a new iPad. This adapter saved me money. It fits on my old adapter and converts it to a new adapter! It works like a charm.

Works as expected. Bought so I could use my old Apple power cords with my new iPhone 5S. Instead of having to buy more cords. Did have to buy a new case though, so I didn't have any obstacles in plugging this in.

I should have gotten the corded adapter. It's a tight fit for my iPad and the speaker, and not very stable. However, that was my mistake. The adapter does work as intended.

I had to purchase this adapter to connect onto my old iPad charging cable because the iPad I purchased didn't have the power cables. this works great as if the cable was made for the iPad.
