Works great as an adapter for the old camera adapter I had for my original iPad. Haven't tried it yet in some of my other older devices (speakers) but it worked for what I needed it for.

I would recommend this to anyone as it is very useful ad easy to use. It is made of solid material and very easy to use and takes very little space.

My iPod case is open at the bottom, so the size f the connector wasn't an issue. I just leave it hooked onto my old 30-pin stereo docking station, and it works great.

I purchased this product in order to play music from my iphone 6 to my Bose Sounddock. Transfers the sound and charges my phone. Perfect! I have a Bose Sounddock Series 1.

Just what I was looking for so that I wouldn't need to buy a new iHome. Reasonably priced and fit the iHome and my new iPod.

Why get a new dock when you can just buy the adaptor. I have 2 old bose sound docks that have superior sound and these keep them going for the foreseeable future!

All in all, this accessory is perfect for those who have devices which use 30 pin and also devices which use lightning cables. This adapter makes it so simple to use all of my products.

When apple discontinued my old ipod I was forced to upgrade!!!! This adapter made it easy to convert my old plug to fit my new ipod for my truck!!!!

I purchased this adapter for a neat stereo I was no longer able to use because of the Apple connection. This works perfect and I can use my speaker again!

I purchased a knock off from Bath / Beyond and it was intermittent connections. The phone had to be propped up fir the charge and music to play. This Apple equipment is the answer.

Had to change out my charging cords due to getting new iPhone. The charging cord I had was 30 pin. So I had to do research for 30 pin to sm pin, This is a great item.

This product works great I would recommend buying this. I think it's a little over priced for what it is but that's how Apple makes money

It works like a charm. A bit ridiculous the price, but if you don’t buy Apple product, it eventually stops working.

After reading reviews of cheaper versions sold elsewhere- went with the licensed Apple product. Works great and didn't have to buy a new dock clock radio for work or home.

My Bose dock uses a 30 pin, then Apple changed the iPhone to Lightning. If I wanted to play music off my iPhone on my Bose, I needed this adapter. It works great!

My new ipod was not compatible with my existing Bose docking station which does not have blue tooth capability. Used this adapter to connect and works like a charm.

I really like the size and convenience of this adapter that really extends the usefulness of an iPod speaker since apple phased out the older data port.
