I bought this to use to download pics from our SD cards from our cameras to my iPad Air 2 when traveling. I used it on a recent trip to Hawaii and was very happy with the results.

I bought this for my teenage boys to view their pictures from their game camera at the deer lease. This is very convenient since we don't have a laptop with an insert for memory cards.

It's extremely more efficient than the Magic Mouse I had before it. I've bought already thinking I would have to return it, but it's beyound my expectations. I DO recommend it!

If you want to use this to backup pictures from your digital SLR to your iPad, don't buy this. If you want a fast way to get images on your iPad so you can post to FB or send via email, this is pretty good. This will NOT work with an iPhone (even though an iPhone also uses a lightening connection. My DSLR is a professional grade DSLR, and the images come out at over 10MB per image in Large Fine (even bigger in raw). The image size imported into the iPad through this SD card reader is about 3MB. So, don't use this if you want to use the iPad as a backup device while traveling.

What more is there to say beyond the fact that it transfers photos and videos flawlessly and rapidly! Short of having a card reader part of the iPad/Phone, this is fine.

Works great no problem.... I needed something look at pictures from scouting camera. Works great on iPad, does not work on IPhone 6. The only bummer is you can't see the pictures larger without downloading them to the IPad. Other than that, works great!

This is nice to have when you are traveling and didn't bring your computer and want to see the pictures you've taken on a bigger screen, or if you have applications installed that allow you to edit pictures. You can edit and then share those pictures.

reliable. Allows me to take pictures with my camera, upload them to my ipad, and then upload them to cloud. Instantly pictures go from the field to the office.

We went on vacation with just a GoPro and an iPad. Was able to transfer all my video and images from the GoPro to the iPad and make a fun movie in iMovie.

You will want this SD card adapter if you have a camera that uses an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card to pull the pictures off the memory card into your iPad.

Love taking pictures with my camera...and thus lets me copy from my sd card to my iPad so I can store on my iPad and clear my card wherever I am.

Only works with iPad, does not work with iPhone 6. Disappointing since I need to transfer my SD card pictures to iPad and then send to my iPhone which has more storage. Wish Apple would upgrade iPhone software to accommodate.

I haven't used it much, I'm a design student and currently taking a video production and photography classes, i figured it would come handy. I only wish to view photos and videos you didn't need to import them to see them.

Works like a charm. I have multiple SD cards from taking photos on my Canon DSLR and it makes it very quick to view them on my ipad on the go
