Good addition for digital photography

I think it's too expensive but that's Apple. I think it will be more valuable once ios13 is released.

Great for importing quickly to my iPad

For so many years I would have to wait until i arrived home from vacation, import my pics onto my desktop & this would take forever. I bought this adapter & called my friend to say "this has changed my life" lol

It passed through audio very well but the remote functions weren’t passed through. I’m pretty certain that’s a Dragonfly hardware but it’s a limitation folks buying this for that reason should know. Furthermore, this wouldn’t be necessary if Apple (the Dongle King) didn’t ditch the headphone jack. As it is, I’m not a fan of buying Apple accessories such as this.
