Works great and it’s convenient to carry around. Helps me so I don’t have to carry my laptop around and my ipad

This is a good option but NOTE, if you are using anything with Power or long term use, I would recommend buying the adapter sold in Apple stores. That item has Power so it can feed the Phone and the hardware. That USB 3 Camera adapter allows you to connect External Storage devised (i.e Portable SSD's, or Microphones) where *THIS ADAPTER* DOES NOT!!! So just a word of warning based on what you are expecting to use this for.

I bought this to work with my Audioquest Dragonfly Black and my iPhone 6. It works as intended, but with all things Apple, a bit over priced.

I thought I would be able to connect USB flash drives to it; however, usually my iPad will say the adaptor doesn't have enough power to support the flash drive. I can connect any camera perfectly.

I got this to connect an external mic to my iPhone for recording. Worked well, just needed a powered usb hub to not drain my phones battery.

I bought this but haven't really used it very much. It works well, I just don't get much use out of it.

I just purchased a new iPad Pro and to my disappointment, Lightening attachments that let me load SD or Compact Flash photos no longer worked (They all worked on iPad Air systems). This connection allowed me to connect my Canon DSLR camera to my new iPad to transfer photos from the camera seemlesly. I recommend this, but disappointed that Apple changed communication formats such that old card loading devices no longer work

I needed this adapter to connect my iPad to my computer to record in Garageband. It worked perfectly! Definitely recommend an apple branded product. Zero issues.

I bought this while on my way to a very last minute maternity shoot. My expectations were low due to a similar product I bought when I had my iPad 2. That item would not work with card readers, I mainly use compact flash cards. I now have an iPad Pro 10.5 and I don’t know if it’s the power of this iPad or a combination of the two but it worked with a card ready flawlessly!!! I couldn’t believe it. I thought I would have to plug my camera in directly which would have been a pain. I will test that out just as a backup option but so far I am digging this attachment!

My dad bought this for himself but since he's had it I've have the opportunity to use it on my own camera and I cannot even say how simple and fast it is to get the photos from my camera to my phone! I have always hated having to go to the kiosks near my house to print out photos when all I ever really wanted was to have the photos on my phone to send to my family! This small item has made this easier and now I am saying money, since I used to spend $10 alone a month on printing photos! I would really recommend this product as I am considering buying this item myself before I move to Houston!

Works exactly as expected. Sometimes has an issue where you have to power the camera on and off, but it does everything it needs to do and transfer of photos is painless.

Great for connecting Lightning equipped products to USB. Easy to use. I use it with iPad to control a Yamaha P-125 keyboard.
