This Apple USB-Camera adapter can do more than load photos from your Apple/Android. Use the Apple camera adapter with a USB A/B connector and you can connect directly from an iPad/iPod/laptop to a DAC (Digital-To-Analog) converter. However, the only small DAC that will work in this configuration is the Cambridge Audio DAC Magic 100 (it doesn't draw too much power from the device). The end result is even MP3 and Apple AAC music files sound wonderful compared to analog (RCA- 3.5mm mini) connections

I have an old digital camera - Sony Alpha 350. I wanted to download photos to my iPhone and iPad. To do so I needed an adapter that connected a USB cable to Lightening. (my camera came with a cable that had a connector that plugged into it with a USB plug on the other end - to typically connect to a computer). Sounds simple but there was a concern with protocols not working. Not being exactly tech-savvy about this sort of thing, I took a chance. Worked great!

I’m sure this is a great purchase for many but it did not work from my iPhone to usb or computer. I tried to fix the issue several ways but unable to get it to work. I was bummed out since I was thinking this would make it easy to store my pictures to a usb.

This is typical high quality from Apple. Works perfect. Does seem to be expensive for what it is.

A must have adapter for your Apple smart phone, works for transferring data and charging

This adapter allows me to move photos quickly from my camera to my IPad. It is so easy to use and small enough to carry with my gear.

So I needed this to sync between old and new iPhones (long story as to why computer or iCloud wasn’t an option) but apparently you need the version that comes with both a female USB port & a female lighting port at the same end. Therefore, if all you need a lightening to female USB, this cable is for you.

I bought this as an open package, noting it was never used in excellent condition. Works great and no issues since being used.

works for exactly what it was bought for. my son needed it for his tablet and it did the job.

My husband uses this and can't believe how easy it is to use! Pictures load right away and delete off SD card easily!

After reading reviews, opted for the Apple version. No issues with performance, was just pricy for what you get.

This is just what I needed. Very easy to transfer documents from my iPad to computer or reverse.

This product has been easy to use since I first bought it. Just Plug it in and you should be good to go every time.

I was not buying this for the normally purpose - my iPhone screen broke and I was attempting to use this to control the screen with a USB keyboard to navigate to my files and save them. It sort of worked, but not enough for me to get what I needed. However, I did try it for its intended purpose on my new replacement phone, and it worked great. I would have kept it if it'd done what I needed it to do, but it didn't. Rating it a 5 for what it's supposed to do, not what I was using it for.

Typical apple product, simply works out of the box. Of course as is usual, not cheap either in price or quality.
