Works just like it should. Just hook it up and away you go. I use it to connect my IPAD to TV's.

Received the item from pick up at Best Buy and it has worked exactly as advertised.

Glad they devised a lightning to usb adPtor . Enables me to use regular jump drives etc.

There really isn't much to say. What you see is what you get. Good, albeit overpriced product.

I bought a certified used adapter, and it works. Needed one urgently, but did not want to spend a lot on a piece of hardware that I am not going to use for a long time. That being said, it says camera, but I think it works for other usb devices that your phone might support. I used it for connecting a touch-based security key to my phone and it worked like a charm.

My use for this product is a bit unconventional. I am a touring keyboard and woodwind musician and use a number of synthesizer and keyboard apps on my iPad. This adapter allows me to connect a physical USB keyboard to my iPad to play the apps. I have two of these, the newer one also has a lightning input so that I can power the iPad and not have to worry about running out of battery power in the middle of a show! It's not a cheap part but works like a charm.

Makes easy to move data to & from Apple products. I use to move pictures from camera to icloud

It works fine , but it's so expensive because it's an APPLE PRODUCT.

It's a pretty good product but I returned it. It didn't do what I expected it to do. Transfer Camera pictures is really what it can do.

Needed this for a specific application and it works great!

The adapter works well for transferring images from the camera to my iPad. I had read online that it could be used to attach other USB devices but have not been successful in using it to attach a keyboard or other device. As others have mentioned, it does not provide power so anything needing USB power cannot work with this adapter. Overall, I am happy with it for the camera connection.

This adapter is perfectly suited for any type of USB to lightning adaptation. I used this adapter to connect an iPad to an external USB mic. (YETI) This worked flawlessly with Garageband! The employees in store also helped me find it, as it was a little hard for me to find by myself, and i had already checked every other store in town!

I would go buy a cheap adapter rather than spending this much money on an Apple product

Great way to use the iPad with music accessories. Just plug and play into midi keyboards.

works well a bit over priced I found that the old style came with card reader for the same price
