Very easy to use would recommend to anyone needing

Invaluable tool for our recording remotely in classrooms. We use this adapter with an iPad to a Snowball Mic to record our classrooms during the remote pandemic classrooms. It has worked like a charm. It is a little pricey, but that is Apple for you.

I have an Audioquest Dragonfly Red DAC/Headphone Amp that sounds like a million dollars when plugged into the USB jack of my laptop and really good as well plugged into the lightening port on my iPhone 8 plus. This dongle is *mandatory* to go in between the phone and the dragonfly red. It does its job!

Don’t be fooled by the name, this will make your iOS device capable of running any usb device… from a mouse to a controller, whatever your heart desires… that has a usb connection. This is my favorite accessory for my iPad.

It does what it's supposed to do and without any issues.

Adapter works great for putting my picture on my apple products.

Using to transfer pics from my camera to mini IPAD pro

Bought this to download a flash drive full of photos and videos of a recent skydiving adventure. Specifically told the salesman what I wanted to use it for, was told it would work for that, and was very disappointed when I found out that it would not. Returned it for a refund.

This connector is perfect for anyone who is wanting to transfer photos from their camera directly to their phones. I am not one who likes to wait to get the photos to my phone the old fashioned putting it on a computer first kid of way. I just want my photos on my phone when I want them and this is the product to do that!

Easy to use. Uploaded pictures to my iPad without any issues.

But it's limited by Apple limitations. I needed an adaptor to read an SD card using a USB reader. Unfortunately Apple requires the videos on the SD card to be copied to the iPad before you can view. And the copy to the iPad is to slow to be usable.

This was just what I needed to download my pics from my camera to the IPad while on a road trip. The sales person assisting me knew exactly where to find this in his store saving me a lot of time. Great service and a fair price.

This adapter does exactly what it supposed to do. But like all Apple dongle’s it’s overpriced for what it is but if you buy a generic one you risk the thing not working after a software update or whatever.

I picked up this adapter not to connect a USB camera, but so that I might connect my iPad to my Casio CDP 120 digital piano which has a USB MIDI connection. I was not sure if this would work as I imagined I might need some "iPad USB midi driver" or something of the sort but was pleasantly surprised when it simply worked with no fanfare.

You can upload but not download photos and videos.

I use this adaptor to connect my Novation Impuse 61 MIDI controller. I use garageband to select virtual instruments. You need an additional USB powered hub so that the MIDI controller has enough power to work properly. This is a great little set up for when you are on the go or just feeling inspired and dont want to hookup your computer.

The only way to get Lighting to USB. and this have power limit, can't use for high speed thumb drive. but work fine with SD card.

It worked like it's name stated. However it did not do what I wanted it for. I must have too old an Ipad Mini 1st Gen. Was wanting too import files from a USB stick but the Mini would not recognize it. iOS was 9.2.5. Need a newer Ipad.
