I needed this in order to hookup a keyboard in order to input my password on a broken screen. It serves its purpose, doesn’t need to be so expensive. But as is expected with Apple.

Is it apple or operator error? I used this at home on a PC / Windows. I gave the cable and loaded SD card to my sister only to find that she could not get anything from the card via the cable to her brand new iPad pro. It worked for me.

Thank you to the sales rep for recommending this product! I went to return a Snowball microphone due to not being able to connect to an Apple phone for creating videos. This was the solution and works GREAT!

This is very handy for moving files to my I Pad . The unit will allow me to transfer files back-and forth without having to air drop files to my laptop when the new operating system for my I Pad becomes available

So if you're going to listen to music and watch videos of any type (and since Apple in its neverending unquenchable thirst for profits eliminated the earphones jack) you're going to need this doohickey. Bottomline: it's necessary clutter.

Overall service was good, however needed an item that was locked behind a case. Took 10 mins to find an available associate that also had keys to open the case.

Product works as advertised but was little difficult finding in the store. Initially associate said they were out but online it said they some. After further inquiry they were able to locate one

This item works with a digital camera to transfer from the camera to the iPad. For this purpose it works great. I however, needed it for printing from an iPad. The one I needed to get needs an additional power supply.

I wanted this to be able to move the pictures I took while on vacation from the memory card to the computer, in this particular case - the iPad. It worked wonderfully well and allowed me to reuse memory cards instead of storing the pictures on the cards and having to buy more memory cards.

This device does a great job of allowing fast connections to your camera. As long as the camera tech is there, you can easily and very quickly transfer thousands of photos in just a couple of minutes. I use a full frame camera and shoot in raw. Transfer times were good.

Not sure it is really the cords fault, but it didn't work for what I wanted it to work for....even though the Best Buy store clerk said it would. connected an external hard drive to it and then to my iphone....to play movies from the hard drive on the iphone.

I know it works good but it didn’t work for what I needed. (Connect a hard drive to the iPad).

I bought this Apple Lightning adapter so I could down load movies from my GoPro camera to my iPad. Although that didn't work out that way, I find I can very easily download pictures from my SLR or my iPhone quickly to my iPad. Very useful adapter to have present.

Every time I try to use it it says the device (flasdrive) pulls York much power. BB assoc. told me it would work.

I’m using the adapter with my Bose Sound Link speaker. With the adapter, I can access my music on my phone, controlling from the phone. Previously the USB transmitter was plugged into the computer. Much more convenient

I'm on the road constantly taking pictures of homes since I'm in the Real Estate business. Having my pictures downloaded off my camera to my iPad makes it sooo easy to upload my stuff online. I would recommend this to anyone in the same field or just likes posting from anywhere.

Works well but the price is crazy. I needed this as a adapter from lightning to usb micro and it takes another cord to accomplish.

This is the device you need to get if you want to transfer images from your iPhone onto a usb drive. It is easy to connect to your iphone or iPad. It’s priced right as well. Definitely would recommend it.

We also purchased a lightening cable and a USB to download files from I Pad. Not sure if this this will actually work despite what sales person suggested. Mixed comments on internet on this suggesting.

Used this with a Focusrite interface and a multi out powered USB adapter and it works great. Also used it directly in the iPad to listen to music with my monitor speakers. (Plugged the USB from the Focusrite into the adapter.)
