Mega downgrade for usability from the older Pro generation folding cases. Very restrictive and annoying. Nothing really “wrong” with it. But I did not care for this design and went with a 3rd party keyboard folio instead.

I had purchased a Magic Keyboard last year for my wife’s iPad Air, which was great. I bought this one for my mom’s gen 10 iPad, thinking it was the same, but this one is very different. It is NOT backlit. It is not one piece. The back attaches magnetically to the base and easily comes off. Unlike the iPad Air keyboard, which allows the IPad to be tilted in any position, this one allows only for a fixed position. I am returning it.

For $250??? Cheap, flimsy, and NOT BACKLIT! I like being able to see my keys while I type. I also agree with the other reviewer that mentions how you can not use while sitting at the couch easily, the kick stand makes the entire keyboard/device too long. So, you almost NEED to set up at a table. To give you an idea. It is just a tad sturdier than Apples basic table folio cover. I could go on Amazon and purchase a keyboard for under $50. The reason I did not was because I would have to charge it separately. So, I figured, APPLE would have their collective ‘design’ together. Going from the Magic floating keyboard to this is the biggest letdown. I will be returning and looking at Logitech for a better quality keyboard.
