Pros: Solid build. Nice tactile keys. Cons: Limited angles. Useless on your lap. Edges are uncomfortable and sharp. Very Pricey. If you're using your iPad only at a desk this will probably be fine for you. I think the positive reviews are from users that haven't tried other 2 in 1s with far better keyboard options and Apple biased users

Bought this open box and it was great. Some dirty marks on the back side but nothing a good cleaning couldn't fix. I'm using this with a 2021 ipad Pro m1 and the fit is a little tight when folding it closed but overall works good. I've noticed no marks on the bottom where the ipad comes close to touching the keyboard case. One minus is the weight of this combination is now at laptop level. It's a drag to carry this outside of my bag. Could see how the 11 inch version would be better with the keyboard portability wise.

I upgraded from the original first generation magic keyboard for my iPad Pro 12.9. This thing is far and away the best keyboard I’ve used. It’s like upgrading from a Mercedes to a Rolls. The keyboard is responsive and the trackpad makes things so much easier when typing documents and searching the web. If you got the cash, don’t hesitate (and take advantage of the open box deals!)

I’ve been looking to downsize from my enormous 17”, cumbersome laptop to something lighter and more portable with better battery life, and this keyboard helped me do that. Now I have a tablet with laptop functionality, so I like the happy medium and flexibility. Also, the protection it adds is an added bonus. Also got it for $100 off. Can’t beat that.

This keyboard has been aptly named—“Magic”. It magically turns an ordinary iPad into the functional equivalent of a full fledged laptop. It seamlessly connects to the iPad. The keys have a very nice feel to them with just the right amount of “travel”. Is it expensive? Yes it is but I justified the expenditure by telling myself it doubles as a stand too. Lol

Great keyboard. Trackpad can be a bit wonky with some apps including Apples. Track pad makes a clicking sound when depressed so not ideal for quite areas or use in meeting. Can be a bit top heavy and unbalanced when angled back. If you can live with these few quirks it makes typing and protecting your iPad terrific!

Game changing add on. I have been debating this purchase since the magic keyboard came out. After purchasing it, I wish I had not waited this long. It completely transforms the iPad and now I constantly want to use it. With the new specs of the coming m1 iPad this will give laptops a true run for their money. If you’re on the fence, just do it.

This new keyboard Apple has made is awesome. It works seamlessly with all apps and literally makes it feel like a laptop when you want it to but you can easily grab the iPad off the keyboard and use it as a tablet as well. The keyboard and trackpad are quality and the little hinge the iPad rests on works great for multi angle viewing. Very impressed even though it’s expensive.

The only thing I would change is to have magnetic charging for the keyboard like MacBooks. It would make the charger different, but if there were some in between that would be the best. Definitely accidentally yank the USB C port a little very once in a while. Wish it would just pop out like my old MacBook Pro. Has held up well so far with no issues though! No major scratches or scuffs, although I don’t take it anywhere. It’s enough like a laptop that you would want some sort of case aside from the keyboard to take it with you.

I absolutely have been enjoying this keyboard. I honestly did not need this but honestly wanted it. lol I still have the last magic keyboard which I enjoy as well. This one is more better since everything is together on the case. I think the price point is high but if you want to treat yourself to something nice and love tech then this is a great one for you as well!

This keyboard was a steal for $200 and works perfectly with the 5th Gen iPad Pro even though the description states otherwise. I do not have a screen protector, and have had absolutely zero issues. If you are getting a new iPad, get this too, definitely worth it.

Fast compact machine. I like the keyboard attachment and the angle the screen sits at The compatibility with my I phone is a plus so I can work on both and still do other functions. Resolution is very good and has many features that I need to explore. A good value for the money. The docking design is a clever feat of engineering and design

The keyboard is easy to use and the keypads are smooth, just like using a MacBook keypad. However it is a little bit heavy for me.

This is a game changer. The magic keyboard with track pad is out of this world. Literally turns the tablet into a laptop and is so thin and sleek you can’t even tell it’s not attached to it unless you actually know about the product. Everyone freaks out when I seamlessly and easily pull the screen off the keyboard seeing it’s an add on.

I love this keyboard. My iPad connects via magnetic backing, allows the ipad to be tilted, etc. Keyboard keys are responsive and the keypad is an added addition to this setup. It is worth the money if you are into Apple products. When you close this keypad up with the ipad in it, it has that laptop feel. I retired my laptop for this setup and it works great!

Ease to use, track pad works great, I never take my laptop when I travel.
