Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Real game changer. Easy to use and securely stays attached to iPad. I was hesitant to buy this as it was an added cost, but I am so glad I did. Keyboard functions with ease and feels like a traditional keyboard. I also like how this functions as a very durable case as well.

The iPad Pro comes one step closer to a Laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The iPad Pro becomes one step closer to becoming a MacBook replacement thanks to iOS 13.4 & this Magic Keyboard. Let’s start with the downsides. Personally, I wish the trackpad was just a tad bigger, I understand Apple had a limited amount of space to work with but in my humble opinion the trackpad is just a bit small. It doesn’t help that my hands are bigger than average but the trackpad is a bit small. The keyboard is missing the function keys found on all MacBooks, again I understand Apple had limited space to work with but keys such as controlling volume and brightness are missing, you’d have to dig deep inside the settings app to control the screen brightness, keyboard backlight etc. The Good? This is a fantastic keyboard, typing is perfect with good amount of travel. The deck sturdy and does not flex when typed. The backlighting is controlled by the iPads light sensor, there is no light bleed. I LOVE the fact that there is a USB-C port on the Keyboard which allows the iPad to be charged, which frees up the USB-C port on the iPad. But let’s get down to brass tax. This brings the iPad ever so closer to becoming a full spread laptop replacement. The only limiting fact now, is the software which Apple will improve in future iPadOS releases. I’ve personally have now made this my daily driver laptop. Is it expensive? Absolutely but it’s worth every penny if you want to be productive with your iPad Pro.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the whole package for my first iPad. I love typing on this keyboard, and I like the convenience of having two usb c ports while using it. Another awesome thing is the tilting of the screen while it looks like its floating. I will say I don’t keep the iPad on this case all the time I mostly keep it in in a regular case, one of the reasons because it is a bit heavy with this on.

Great, but hefty.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The functionality of the keyboard is excellent as well as the trackpad. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the weight. It is considerably weighty.

Great keyboard, if you can afford it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great keyboard. It’s got lots of the buttons you might need in order to operate your iPad Pro. The keyboard is not as heavy as other people think it is. It does not scratch the display of your iPad. It’s got a really nice illuminated LED keypad. However, it doesn’t have any shortcut buttons, and it’s VERY EXPENSIVE!!! That’s the only reason I returned mine.

Best choice!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best price around and top notch functionality! Working perfectly with my 2021 iPad pro. No problems with it fitting this newest model. It works so well I returned the pencil, as I have no need to write on the screen, keyboard is easy to adapt to vs. A fully sized keyboard normally found on a desktop computer.

Pleasantly Surprised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pleasantly surprised. I have 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 and have been using it with the keyboard folio for year. I’ve wanted to try this but it was a little pricey so I was able snag this on saw for $150 off and it’s well worth the price. The only gripe I have is not being able to use the iPad as a tablet without removing the iPad completely from the keyboard with the folio keyboard you can flip the keyboard to the back of the iPad for tablet mode. But I really like the trackpad and stability with this one. I have a MacBook so it just flows effortlessly for me. I also do a lot of typing in my lap so the added sturdiness is nice. I also don’t feel like my iPad is going to fall off the magnets. I did opt into buying a bumper case on Amazon so that I can detach my iPad anytime I want to use it in tablet mode without having a naked iPad. But so far so good I haven’t noticed any difference in the battery life and I love not having to charge the keyboard just attach and go. The backlit keys are a plus as well. I’ll be keeping this keyboard for sure especially now that I’m transitioning back to in office work and will be carrying my iPad around instead of my MacBook.

It delivers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a different keyboard - the price was less but the quality and functionality, not so much. I bought the brand-named Apple - Magic keyboard. There's a world of difference. With the magnetic connection and direct contact, I don't have to push keys to re-establish connection. Besides being neat and trim - It does what it's supposed to do

Steep price, but use it every day
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exactly as the title says, the case is EXPENSIVE, but if you use your iPad for a lot of typing things, or maybe to replace your laptop, this is a great choice. The trackpad is insanely good, very quick when you flick your fingers for a gesture, and pass through charging with the case eliminates a cord hanging from the middle of the iPad.

A work game changer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was about two seconds away from selling my iPad Pro and buying a surface pro 7. I love what the iPad Pro does for the most part, but it was falling short when trying to conduct business on it. I figured before I made the leap that I’d try the magic keyboard. As expensive as it is, it’s still a heck of a lot cheaper than buying an a brand new surface pro 7. From the first day that I used the keyboard I knew that it would change the entire experience for me. I went from a tablet with a keyboard attached... to what felt like a mini MacBook. If you already have a MacBook and are use to the trackpad gestures then you’ll already be at an advantage in using the magic keyboard. Now, instead of lugging my laptop to the office I just bring my iPad. I don’t feel like I’m taking a step backwards in functionality by having my iPad with me anymore. As far as the typing experience is concerned, the key travel is good, the backlighting makes it easy to work in the dark, and the spacing is nice and comfortable. The keys have sort of a hollow sound to them as you’re typing, but not in any way unpleasant. The only regret that I have is that I waited so long to get it.

Great, but Pricey, Heavy iPad Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected as much, but this is an expensive and rather heavy. That said, it makes my iPad so much like a regular computer that I've contemplated switching over to it rather than upgrading my 3-year old MacBook Pro. The keys have a nice feel, which I actually prefer to my MBP. It took some time to trust the magnetic connection between the iPad and the keyboard, but it's strong and reliable. I knew what I was getting into with regard to the cost (obviously) and weight, so I am pleased. If these things are a concern to you, you might be less so.

Apple's Magic Keyboard is a home run
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to the magic keyboard from the iPad Pro's Smart Keyboard Cover. While they do appear similar (yet differ substantially in price), there are some large upsides tot the Magic Keyboard over the former keyboard cover. The biggest benefit is the keys themselves -- they are a major upgrade and they just feel good when typing. To boot, the keys are also backlit, which is very helpful when in a dimly lit room. The 2nd big benefit is that the base of the iPad is not resting on the keyboard itself. This allows the user to easily access icons and/or swipe from the bottom of the screen as well as adjust the angle of the iPad for ideal viewing (as opposed to only 2 angles previously). Lastly (but not leastly) the trackpad is a huge change and alters the way one may choose to operate the iPad. In addition to mousing and clicking, the trackpad also accepts swipes and gestures as if it were an extended screen. While this is useful is while you're using the trackpad, you're not getting fingerprints on the iPad screen itself! When I purchased the device, I didn't fully know what I was getting, but I'm glad I did it...

Pretty much the Apex or perfection of keyboards
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple Magic Keyboard on the iPad Pro is really expensive, but it delivers on everything this product category can deliver on. I decided to purchase it and I’ve never regretted it even once. The built quality has withstand a little bit of water falling on it it has been treated for the most part with a lot of care, but people have put heavy stuff on and while the iPad is in and they have accidentally dropped my iPad with this case on it and it has protected both from damage just minor wear and tear. I really like the responsiveness of the keyboard itself and the fact that it looks so cool like nothing out there floating in the air plugs detaching and attaching the iPad Pro is literally plug-and-play levels of difficulty. And if you can afford this just fired don’t think too much about it because once you get it you will know there is no better alternatives out there.

Overall very satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Magic keyboard works really well. Like all the features especially the tracpad. With the trackpad you can easily use gestures to change programs, scroll, close, etc. In addition having a mouse to use has been used more often than I anticipated. Price is obviously high but overall I think it's a great product especially if you use the iPad a lot.

Its good but price is too high
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's be real, this is by Apple so it is great quality and has everything needed but the price is bit too high. So if you don't mind the price they go ahead and get it because it does what is says it will do. Glad that this went on Sale on BestBuy and that's when i made my call to get this. So far it has been great and it compensates to people who use it for daily use for browsing or taking notes etc. Its useful product but yet a bit pricy.

Fantastic accessory for iPad Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this keyboard. Didn’t know if I’d like it as much as I hoped, but it’s better than expected. I waited to order it, and found it on sale, so that makes me even happier. It is a bit heavy, but not unexpected since it turns the iPad into a laptop. Usage is easy. Set up is just plug and play. No complaints here.
