I finally found this case on sale! I've been looking at it for months! It's expensive but convenient to have the tablet at a good angle. I'm glad I waited to get this one instead of the cheaper style.

True-to-form: Apple comes through with their high quality magic keyboard. It’s an excellent product. Well thought thru, as you would imagine. When the case is closed around my iPad Pro it is well protected.

Much more stable and responsive than the other Apple keyboard cover, and should be for the cost. Wish it could be folded behind the iPad, but it’s very easy to take the iPad off of the magnets if you want to use it vertically.

We have just started using the new iPad. We have smaller ones that are Apple products. This one has the different charger, turns on and off a bit different but it is a very nice computer. We are happy with it.

Poor design at an absurd price point! I took it back and got a regular, non-keyboard case. All this case does is turn your iPad into a MacBook; but, with the case, it will no longer function as a tablet because you must remove the iPad from the case to make it lay flat, or if you want to hold it while doing a lecture or presentation. Doing so will give your iPad ZERO protection if you drop it, so why bother. If one is buying this for a college student in lieu of a MacBookPro, maybe it makes sense. However, if you already have a MacBook in your home, why bother buying this insanely expensive case? I swapped it out for a USG (non-keyboard) case for a small fraction of the cost, so my iPad functions like a tablet and is protected. If I want to type a proposal I will grab my MacBookPro.

Awesome product. I’m using it now to submit this review. Couple it with the iPad Pro and good luck finding an excuse to buy a laptop…unless you just want to spend money.

Wow - this keyboard is seriously unreal. Typing on your lap is finally comfortable and the adjustable screen position has been fantastic. That, coupled with the backlit keys, make this a must-buy if you’re an iPad Pro user.

I've used different types of BT keyboards and there's a noticeable lag when it comes to the mouse pad. If you want to avoid the lag then go with the Apple version which connects directly to the smart connector.

Great addition to the iPad. Unfortunately this keyboard delivery was delayed and I ended up purchasing through another retailer. Returned it to my local Best Buy store. Great customer service. Easy return!

100% worth the cost. I’ve only had one issue, charging from the dock on the keyboard. My iPad will keep saying unable to recognize this device. But I was able to get a replacement and no issues since.

Has made the iPad Pro even closer to a TRUE laptop replacement. When my Surface Pro 3 dies, (screen is very fragile, I do NOT use it as a tablet), I will not be replacing it. I’ll use my iPad Pro and the keyboard!

I purchased this for my 12.9 iPad Pro. I brought it Open box and saved myself some money. I love the Magic Keyboard, the only issue I have with it is that you can’t use your iPad flat. To be able to write or draw flat you have to remove it from the keyboard. Apple should of allowed the top of the magic keyboard for rotate and lay flat.

I like better than I thought I would. I keep my iPad in it and use a LOT! The magnet holding my iPad is surprisingly strong. It’s easy to remove when I don’t need the keyboard. It would be better if I could bend it back even further. I understand why I can’t—it would eventually lessen the secure tilt—but it would still be nice.

I'll be honest by stating up front that my work paid for this keyboard case and there's no way I would have paid for it out of my own pocket. Pros: I like the backlight keys, which are surprisingly quiet and comfortable, and having a trackpad. It definitely feels solid which is good since you don't want your expensive iPad to tip over with the slightest bump. There is a satisfying click when opening the case and the ability to angle the screen is nice. I also appreciate the extra charging port it gives my iPad. Cons: This thing is heavy! Pair it with the iPad, especially the 13"er and you are pretty much carrying around a laptop. I think it's even heavier than my Dell work laptop. Also, the trackpad can be annoying and not sense clicks sometimes. With experimentation, I think it's the apps I use as it always seems to be fine with Apple's first party apps but a lot more hit-and-miss with 3rd party apps.

The track pad is not as "smart" as the trackpad on a MacBook but this keyboard case is a game changer, adding a mouse cursor to the iPad should have been done years ago, far easier/faster to use now!!

It does the job. I have to say the trackpad (and trackpad/mouse support in iPadOS) is a really nice addition. The only thing I wish it was able to do is tap rather than press to evoke a button press. The press makes a somewhat loud clicking sound like an old windows laptop would.
