Must have for your iPad Pro
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't find any reason you should not have it despite its very high price. The keyboard is much more comfortable to type than its ancestor and the touchpad is as good as the one on Macbook. It's very solid to use but because of it, it's very very heavy. This is the only thing I don't like.

Only worth it do to a series of chance happenings
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little keyboard that fits the model of Pro I have (Gen 4). At the regular price this is not a great solution in my opinion. $350 is quite ridiculous. However, since it was only for Gen 3 and Gen 4 iPad Pros while Apple is now on Gen 5 it is rapidly losing any reason to exist, and I assume I got it on clearance since it was was only $200, which is still high, but it's a quality keyboard so whatever.

Expensive but my FAVORITE iPad accessory
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s expensive but the Magic Keyboard is my favorite accessory for the iPad Pro. The keys are comfortable and travel like MacBook keys. The trackpad is smaller than a MacBook trackpad but I haven’t felt constrained by it at all. I have tried a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with my iPad Pro but much prefer using the Magic Keyboard. There’s no lag that you might have with Bluetooth peripherals. My only nitpick about the Magic Keyboard is that the viewing angles are not comfortable for writing with an Apple Pencil. I used to have the Apple Smart Folio and liked how you could fold the keyboard under the iPad when writing with the Apple Pencil. I suppose that was a design choice so that the iPad can float on the back panel. I have just adjusted to taking the iPad out of the Magic Keyboard when I want to sign something or write notes with the Apple Pencil. The iPad attaches magnetically to the Magic Keyboard in easy fashion so it’s only a minor issue.

Beautiful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sturdy, simple and easy to use. I don’t often use a laptop that’s why I ordered the magic keyboard. My iPad Pro can switch into a laptop anytime, though it doesn’t have a function key, it still serve its purpose. It’s handy too, its a bit heavy but I don’t mind. It still depends on your preference though.

Magic Keyboard Makes the iPad Pro a Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The iPad Pro on its own is a great tablet. However, when paired with the Magic Keyboard, it becomes a full-fledged laptop. I bought the Magic Keyboard to pair with my iPad Pro to see if I could replace my MacBook Pro with it as my day-to-day computer, and I absolutely could! The iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard makes for a great computer -- one that can accomplish almost any task you could ask of it. And, of course, you can keep your desktop or laptop computer around for the odd job that you can't easily get done on the iPad Pro, but I haven't run into this problem. The fact that the iPad Pro is lighter, smaller, and more portable than my MacBook Pro makes using it on a daily basis so much easier, and the fact that it works just as well as a laptop makes buying the Magic Keyboard a no brainer! Would definitely recommend! The only downside is that it's a bit on the expensive side, but it really is worth it.

Great keyboard for my iPad Pro 12.9
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard for my newly purchased M1 iPad Pro 12.9 5th generation model. Some reviews mentioned it was not compatible with my iPad due to the new iPad being slightly thicker than the previous model. It works great and fits with no problem. The new Magic Keyboard has a few extra magnets to perhaps help with the extra weight of the new iPad Pro, but this version holds it just fine. I purchased the new White Magic Keyboard but returned it because the backlit keys were difficult to see in rooms with moderate lighting. The keys are easier to see and I was also able to get this version on sale. The keys feel good to type on. I do have to wipe it down more compared to the white model. It seems to always get white smudge marks. The white smudge marks are nearly impossible to see on the white keyboard since the color is the same as the smudge marks. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Keyboard review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have been mostly satisfied. Sometimes when the iPad is tilted I have trouble hitting the numbers on the keyboard and have to slow down and focus. It is strong, easy to use. Keyboard feels nice. Someone asked about turning it on its side. You can, but then keyboard is obsolete.

Love it! Wish it could fold back
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works seamlessly with the iPad, adds a bit of weight to it. Doesn’t allow for the iPad to fold all the way back so if you want to use the iPad as a handheld at any point, you’ll have to take it out and it will be unprotected (unless you buy a separate case for it). Could be more affordable.

Changes the way you think of iPad.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally transformed the way I use my iPad. I did buy it while it was on sale for $329.00. I feel that it’s a bit overpriced but it does work flawlessly. The backlit keyboard is easy to read in dark rooms and the key response is excellent. It does feel like you are typing on a laptop.

Great keyboard, Excellent IPad stand!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is for the 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9. I am using its on the newest model 12.9 iPad Pro and it works and fits perfect, so perfect, that we tried them both, the newest keyboard and this one and there was no perceivable difference except for the price which was what prompted me to come in to purchase it. Works great, even if you only use the keyboard as a stand for your iPad which is what mine is used for most often! This keyboard really adds a lot more functionality to your iPad. Using the directional keys while web surfing, using the space bar to unlock your iPad. The best part is that it is connected to your iPad in the back with a magnetic connection, so there is no Bluetooth to set up, no separate charging, it really integrates seamlessly to an already great device! Highly recommended no matter what kind of money you may save buying one of the competitors!

Great for holding iPads
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the full backlit keyboard with track pad, my gripe is the same as most. It would've been nice if it included a function key row but not a deal breaker. It's very convenient and by far the best keyboard case for the pro series. $350 is steep but if you're doing over 1k on the iPad, it's a very nice addition, especially if you are using the iPad in place of a laptop.

Classic Apple Quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall design is superb, minus one overlooked defect by Apple. For the price, this keyboard folio should be 180+ degrees. Specifically, it should be able to lie flat and also have a writing angle (w/out hacks) to be able to better utilize the Apple Pencil. Hence the reason I didn’t give it a full five stars. Otherwise, typing performance is superb, trackpad and gestures are fluid, and it’s super slim—albeit a bit heavy in weight to support the ‘magic’.

Love this keyboard!! Would purchase again.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love, love, love this keyboard. It makes typing out things on the iPad so much easier and more convenient. The touchpad is also very useful. I know it seems a little pricey…but for me…it was worth it.

Great keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up hoping it would come in handy as a tablet case with the occasional use as a keyboard but I’m finding myself using it the other way around. The price is a bit high but the quality and function is great. It has a lot of hidden features you may have to look them up on YouTube.

Works great! But expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this as a free gift with my purchase of apple ipad 12.9 Pro, 4th generation. I figured it would be perfect for school. Tbh i dont think i would have purchased it on my own bc the price is pretty steep for just a keyboard. However. I do like it. The ilad sits on the back of the keyboard by magnets and holds sturdy. The keyboard connected instantly and i had no problems with that. The keyboard works good, the mousepad on it works great too. My only concern is i have a Thick heavy duty case cover on my ipad, and im not entirely sure i would trust the magnets to hold well with the case on it. Ill def get lots of use from this keyboard for writing my school assignment so im glad i got it. Would i have just bought it myself had it not been free? Probably not, theres many cheaper keyboards out there that work just as well without the apple logo.

Turned my IPad Pro into a laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this. It truly turned my iPad Pro into a laptop. My only critical feedback is I wish the screen was able to rotate to use it vertically. I do feel $350 is too much, but as it’s the only one like this out there, there was no choice, and they can charge what they want.

By far the best...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried several keyboards for my iPad. Even the Apple ones were hard to connect. This works perfectly. The track pad was a huge added bonus I didn't even know I wanted. Seems to be well protected in my bag. Only wish it had protection when I'm not using it on the stand.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After updating software, and through no support of Apple, this is now working perfectly w/ my 3rd gen pro pad. Easier to type as if it were a laptop and lighted keyboard is great too. The angles at which you can tilt the iPad are perfect too. Game changer w/ the mouse pad too.

Awesome Edition
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great accessory for the iPad Pro. Does everything so well and very smoothly. Track pad is great and responsive. Keyboard is nice and tactile. Love the fact you can control the illumination in the settings. Not the easiest to get to, but the option is there. The pass-through charging is an awesome addition. Not as fast as traditional charging directly, but still effective. The hinge is super solid and has a decent level of viewing angles. The magnets are very strong as well. Opening and closing the keyboard will take some time to get use to though. Other than that, it has been a dream. I use this setup primary on construction sites for structural cabling and the processor is incredibly fast with large layered prints. I was able to purchase during it’s $150 Daily Deal, which made this purchase significantly easier.

Amazing Quality BUT way overpriced even at $200
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very overpriced keyboard and I picked it up at $200.. cant believe some people actually payed double that. RiP. The pass through charging is sadly NOT w/data and is only on one side of the case. Another huge miss step straight out the apple playbook. Gotta sell them disgusting dongles. This 'case', which has no real protection by the way, also doesn't have artist in mind as there's not even a drawing posture for it. Some flip it over with the keyboard hanging over their experience and that just makes me sad. The track pad with its gestures is godlike. The lights use almost no extra battery (efficiency far exceeding any of their competitors). However I think keyboard cases as a whole take away from the overall value of a tablet. They distance it from your face, and they add bulk defeating their own purposes. You can get a whole laptop for $350 with a 16 inch screen... This is for very specific people with a fetish for making their ipad not be an ipad. If you hate the tablet experience than this is for you.
