Ok this is pricey especially for the 12.9 IPad Pro. I really looked at cheaper options. But let me tell you that I do not regret the purchase as it has transformed my IPad into a laptop instantly. Many products claim to do this and do to some level. But the keyboards feel all fall short in comparison. But to type on this is a dream. It’s is 100 % Quality. The track pad is perfect with a few tweaks in settings. I did add a skin to the key board cover as it reduced the finger prints and increased better grip. I also use a UAG laptop case made for Mac laptops and it has added a very solid level of protection to the IPad and Key board. I’m very, very satisfied with this keyboard, magnets holding the IPad and the hinge system in a magical way. Over all I would recommend and repeat this purchase choice. Buy it ! It’s Wonderful!!!

The magic keyboard is a great typing experience and doubles nicely as a protective cover for travel. It’s not cheap, but it is a quality product in my opinion. Love the way it keeps the pad off the desk and is actually a dream to use the touchpad once you get the hang of it. Light weight overall and looks professional as I use it for work. I was planning on getting a mouse at first but found that the touchpad was so quick and efficient I didn’t see the need. Also, no set up. It just works as soon as you put the IPad on and the only thing you may want to do is open the settings and see if there is anything you want to tweak. If you a guy that likes to fidget and do a lot of customization then this may not be for you, but if you are like me and appreciate something that just flat out works great without a lot of hassle, then this is for you.

The keyboard and track pad feel good. The backlight is great. My biggest complaint is how much of a magnet this thing is to getting dirty. The slightest bit of anything around will stick to this, as proven by my toddler. It's way overpriced for what it is. But, it's purpose built for what it is, and it functions well. I think $200 would have been a more reasonable price for this.

I’m using the keyboard to write this review. It’s my favorite of the many I’ve been through with my last few iPads. I’ve owned from Zagg and Logitech and while they were both fine this is MILES ahead in features, power, and comfort. I really appreciate the extra USB C port for charging leaving the other to hook up accessories. The keyboard feels great. There is a double edge sword to not being Bluetooth - better connection and no lag BUT I miss being able to quick switch to my phone or another device when needed. There are also times when a website will want you to rotate the display 90-degrees (example: company website chat features) which means you are left with holding the ipad and using the on-screen keyboard or switching to a computer.

Perfect combination of form and function. Allow the iPad to become an laptop replacement with the right apps. It is on the heavy side but necessary to support the weight of the larger iPad pros. In terms of value, you do have to pay the apple tax but the occasional sale can lessen the blow. It also offers a good height for media viewing.

This is just that much better than the prior keyboard. I LOVE that I can tilt the screen perfectly vertical, to deal with glare etc. Especially dislike that this one doesn’t flip all the way to the back, to use the tablet alone while still attached to the folio, like the other one. Overall, though, like the feel of typing on this and occasionally using the mousepad.

Honestly, I cringed at the cost. I didn’t want to spend $350 on this. However, now that I have it I can’t live without it. The only things I don’t like is the tilt doesn’t go back far enough and I don’t like that the battery takes a huge hit.

The magic keyboard is everything I was hoping for. It provides a safe case for my new I-PAD Pro and offers a workable stance and keyboard at the same time. With the Covid-19 pandemic I have had to go to many meetings on zoom. This keyboard makes positioning myself for camera shots with correct head room Oh so easy. I recommend this products to anyone. It is more expensive then other keyboard cases but is worth the extra expense to me. Additionally I have been able to add a hub that allows me to plug in usb, hdmi, and thumb drives. This makes my I-Pad more like a computer. I can use the hub to send hdmi presentation out of the I-PAD. The hub fits on the magic keyboard. I am a happy camper

A bit pricey but as most Apple Products, its really sturdy and cool looking. The keys work great as well as the trackpad. I like that it connects to the iPad thru the 3 pins on the back. No more cable hanging out on the side of the iPad.

This is one of my all time favorite Apple accessories. I never wouldn't have believed how much I love this keyboard. I held off on buying it for a really long time because I wasn't sure that I would like the limitations of how it folds and always having to have the keyboard extended but my gosh it is wonderful. The build quality is amazing. The responsiveness is amazing. The backlighting is super helpful. Everything about this is perfect and my only regret is not buying it sooner. I got an amazing deal on it when it was seeing a rare discount + combined that with the open box savings. Maybe not pay full-price but if you've been on the fence about it and you see it on discount I would easily jump on it.

I fully understand this keyboard + trackpad is pricey. Additionally, I’ll be upfront and say that it was too expensive for me but I also dont make a lot of money so it is what it is. I I ended up getting a certified refurbished model and it was absolutely perfect out of the box with no signs it was ever used prior. The effortlessness of how this “stand” holds the ipad is truly under appreciated for those that enjoy the ipad but think it doesnt make a difference. All in all if you don’t type much on your ipad (or dont see yourself doing so if you had a keyboard) then this is not for you but for users looking to get the most out of the multi tasking features of the ipad this is a treat of a tool.

This is what he iPad has always been missing and makes it feel more like a laptop. The keyboard feels super high quality and with mouse support it greatly enhances productivity. I thought the trackpad would feel small but after using it for a month it I think it's fine. The viewing angles are sufficient for my needs and I like how you can easily detach it from the case when needed. The magnetic connection to the case though is really strong so there's never a thought that the iPad will fall out. The only con I can think of is the case material picks up smudges and dirt very easy so you have to wipe it off frequently (not a big deal). The price of this thing seems insane but the build quality is so good that I think it justifies the price. This will definitely change the way you use your iPad so if this is in your budget then I would go for it.

The keyboard is easy to use and very smooth which is just what I was looking for. For some reason I thought it would flip all the way around but it only changes the angle of the iPad. Either way it’s very good quality and very sturdy.

With my prior 12.9” iPad Pro I had the Smart Keyboard. It was much better than using the on-screen keyboard but I was not completely satisfied. I decided in May 2020 to upgrade to the 4th Gen 12.9” iPad Pro. It was a significant purchase. Because I wasn’t completely satisfied with the Smart Keyboard and I wasn’t ready to spend the crazy money for the Magic keyboard, I decided to just use the onscreen keyboard. Over the last nine months I’ve been becoming increasingly dissatisfied when needing to compose longer emails. I finally broke down and purchased the Magic Keyboard. The thing is amazing. It is very comfortable to use, the track pad and back lighted keys are great. I’m still glad I approached it the way I did, but if you can budget the money for the Magic Keyboard do it!

It's a great addtion to your IPAD, but man this thing is heavy. Pros: easily attaches and makes your Ipad turn into a laptop. But make no mistake, it really won't become a laptop. It does make it much easier to type and navigate. Cons: Super heavy and for it being an accessory to an already high priced ipad, I almost feel like I should of gotten a laptop.

All in all, the best Keyboard out for iPad Pro. It did come with a hefty price tag tho. If I had to make the decision again. I would purchase again. Well worth it at the end of the day. I like how it also charges from the keyboard as well.

Very efficient and easy to use! It’s a great use, two in one, protect your ipad plus with keyboard option make this a good buy. So far I haven’t had any issues, in conclusion I totally recommended.

I love that this keyboard can also be a case. It’s pretty thick and feels heavier than I thought it would be, but it supports the iPad very well and has a strong magnetic hold on the back! The keys are easy to use, it’s backlit, and very sturdy!

I was very excited when they announced the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, especially since it did not require me to upgrade from my 2018 model iPad Pro. I ordered it knowing that, for $350, if it did not blow me away I was going to return it. Needless to say, I kept it. In fact, I’m writing this review from it right now. The build quality is outstanding (as I have come to expect from Apple products), and it is very stable when using it on my lap, in bed, where ever. The backlit keys, integrated USB-C charging port, smart connector (rather than Bluetooth), and OUTSTANDING trackpad have completely transformed the way I use my iPad. It’s certainly not an inexpensive product, but I have always believed the saying “Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten”. That saying applies to the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro perfectly.

Love love love it!!! Don’t hesitate to buy. I was on the fence for awhile but than decided to go for it. So happy I did. Excellent keyboard and protector!
